He probably won't be the answer to all of the team's past offensive-line woes, but the Bucs did make a bit of news today signing offensive tackle Jabari Levey.

Levey is a 6-foot-6, 315-pound free agent who spent last training camp with the Oakland Raiders, only to be released at final cuts.

He went on to spend this year with the Berlin Thunder in NFL Europa, starting nine of 10 games this season. Levey played his college ball at South Carolina where he started at left tackle his final two seasons.

This really goes to show that the Bucs brass really is committed and determined to win!

Tom

I guess it can't hurt to take a look. But a guy that didn't make the Raiders squad doesn't look that promising.

Jason

The Raiders sucked for a number of reasons.
Depth is important for camp. Our defense needs to be feed fresh meat!!!
That's Right.. Go Bucs!

Arnold

The Bucs are terrible, and this won't make them any better.

Fred Augat

The Bucs have made a pretty good effort in the offseason to get better...this move is another.....will the guy start, provide depth or just be camp fodder? I dont know, but I do remember a few years ago when we had a host of injuries in camp, so the move is not without some logic.

Arnold

The Bucs should move to a place with real football fans. That's the only thing that will make the franchise better over the long run. LA.

Zackley

Arnald you need to move. Why post anything. Buc's were a great team for years and will bee again after winning a superbowl.Yes superbowl ,,Yes great fans also.; I go to every game.fresh blood is great when your 6'6' 300 it is time to look if your a football player.

Adnan

We will gladly take the Bucs in LA.
