Bucs not planning to share the wealth

When and if the Bucs recoup any signing bonus money from Jake Plummer, they will not have to share that money with the Broncos despite Denver being named as a grievant in the matter.

That was one thing that was unclear when we told you here yesterday about the Bucs' plans to pursue about $7-million in signing bonus money already paid to Plummer.  The Broncos, as we suspected, are a party in this matter only to strengthen the Bucs' case and to eliminate any question about Tampa Bay's legal standing (the Broncos paid the money, not the Bucs). The Broncos are really just a part of this on paper, but have no plans to assist in the case.

The Bucs possibly stand to gain some salary-cap relief if they win the case in arbitration. Oftentimes, teams are granted some salary-cap relief when they win financial judgments against players.

Bucs. Hold on to the money. I know what its like to spend everything. I had it all, a '76 cady with fuzzy dice and a cheetah jacket..
So hold onto the money and if you need someone to sing the national anthem I am available. I am in section 305 through 310 selling beer.
