OG Arron Sears leaves on crutches

Rookie second-round draft pick Arron Sears just exited the building on crutches and is being taken in a team vehicle, presumably to nearby facility for an MRI.

Sears,  the projected starter at left guard, was taken off the practice field on a cart. He appearedto have a lower right leg injury and was unable to put any weight on the leg.

Anthony Davis is in at left guard.

Comments

This is not good news, Sears, along with Joseph, were the strengths of the O-line and held their own against Stroud and Henderson of the Jags. Davis is a big body, but doesn't have the quickness and agility that Sears has. A BIG loss if this is serious.

Another reason why the preseason should be shortened.

Mr. Ram, this has nothing to do with preseason. It was during a practice!

This is devastating news. Sears has been playing phenomenal. He played exceptionally well against the two monsters in Jax. I just hope he gets back soon and that it is not season ending.

Come on, this season is going to suck, anyway. May as well go for broke!

Rob, your an idiot!

They should trade for Kenyatta Walker, hahahaha

I was hoping that Sears would follow in Joseph's footsteps. But getting injured just before the regular season started, just like Davin did last year is not what I had in mind.

The Bucs go 7-9 this year, Gruden keeps his job, and they go 10-6 next year. All of the bandwagon fans will deny ever calling for JG's job.
