Ruud grabs another honor
Middle linebacker Barrett Ruud has been named NFC defensive player of the month for September, two weeks after garnering a defensive player of the week honor.
Ruud led the league in September with 51 tackles, adding three forced fumbles, two recoveries and an interception.
Even Colts coach Tony Dungy mentioned today that Ruud has caught his eye while watching film of the Bucs this week. He said it was the first time he had watched Ruud play and his performance looked pretty familiar. It reminded Dungy of some of standout linebackers who came before him.
Dungy will get a close up on Sunday when the Bucs take on Indianapolis.

DR, you forgot, you also expect him to be your butt pirate.

The Indy Star has a forum that doesn't require registration. Pats fans and Colts fans are going at it. The Colts fans seem to have forgotten there is a game with the Bucs this weekend. Lets remind them http://www.topix.net/forum/source/indianapolis-star/TE4QI6OOVGDFLN3L3

TomTomTom, those Colts fans are funny.

You Yucks fans have got be delirious from heatstroke if you think you have a chance on Sunday. Peyton will throw 3 touchdowns and whoever we line up in the backfield will gain at least 140 yards. Colts 35-7 and over by halftime.

ColtBlue,
Welcome and bring more of your Colt Fans here.
Yeah, the mighty colts haven't lost a game since Peyton has been their QB! I forgot that fact! Tell me more what the Colts will do to the Buccaneers...
We're very accomodating here at the Bucs blog...I even fry up some stuff on Monday mornings for our visitors.
Cordially yours,
Mr.T

I visited the Colts blog and those dudes are crazy. There's this one guy TomTomTom that makes a lot of sense but they rest just deny everything and act like they really enjoy watching that pitiful defense play every week.

You know I read in the Indystar that Dungy was thinking about resting some of his starters. I guess he realizes they may get hurt, you know with the way Phillips is hitting and Chukwurah’s always in the back field and then there that boy Clayton. You know there defense sucks already!! Now they have Clayton coming to town who might put a lick on them trying to cover Galloway or Ike and hurt more of there starters. That Tony Dungy, he sure is smart. The way the Colts are playing second fettle to the Patriots, he can’t afford for his starters to get beat-up playing the mighty Buc defense.

No, tomtomtom sounds like a complete tool with no knowledge whatsoever. Exactly like you Tom.
Don't forget to bring your tissues Sunday, you're going to need them. Maybe your boyfriend will console you.
Posted by: DR | October 05, 2007 at 08:10 AM
Doofus, you truly are stupid, not just because you can't spell, but you can't read into things correctly.
Dungy might rest his players because he doesn't think he needs them against the Bucs. He knows you have a superb defense against the worst offenses in the league. He knows that Manning will sit back in the pocket, read OJ's book, and then find his open receiver because Adams and the other guys who can't pressure a QB to save their lives, won't put any pressure on him. he knows you have no RBs that are a threat. Not even before a patellar tendon busted. They already faced a better defense, Tennessee. And Dungy will never be outcoached by an utter complete moron.

DR, I can't see there are bigger morons than you. You are by far the biggest moron to post on these blogs. I believe someone called you DR Downer after the Sat Night live character. That’s about right. If the Bucs win this weekend, do you promise never to post on this blog again and just stick to your Cowboys sites? You are an annoying troll, please go away.
Posted by: Bob | October 05, 2007 at 09:51 AM
Alright, Bobbabooie. If the Bucs win, i'll never blog on here with you morons ever again. What's the deal for you idiots? I'll give you 14 points. If the bucs lose by 14 points or more, you guys are not allowed to give Gruden verbal BJ's anymore. Deal?

Poor Doofy wants to get rid of me. Whaaaaaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaaa. I'm crying like you will be at halftime, down 17-0.

The Colts fans are the most pathetic in the NFL. I go to their site and point out the obvious to them. That their inability to stop the run or play any kind of defense will hurt them towards the end of the season. They started crying and banned me from their site! What a joke. What a bunch of crybabies! They can't tell between a cover 2 and timbuktu!
What a bunch of losers! It will make this victory all the more sweet!

Hey Tom, they banned you? That’s funny, I posted as DooDan and jumped my $hit. I guess they can’t take a little razzing, all in fun of course. Try the topix.net that Daniel pointed out, they can’t ban you from that one.
Posted by: Doofus Dan | October 05, 2007 at 02:11 PM
Yeah Doofus, can you believe that? They are obviously a bunch of pansies. They won the Super Bowl and still can't take a little trash talking. The problem is, none of them know a lick of football. All they can say, "Yeah? Well, you're gay!"
They can't handle the fact that, although they have a great offense, their defense has been suspect for years. And you know the old saying, "Defense wins championships!"
They might as well start watching cricket or polo, because they obviously can't handle a little smack talk. It's because if you tell them their weakness they shut right up.

Here's one for you guys to get back at DR. Those Cowboy fans are the biggest suckers of all. I used to live there, I know.
