The Giants will win next Sunday..They are 7-1 on the road. They have a beast for a running back and the best sack total in the league..

So much hate on Gruden, leave the man alone, they are winning.

As a lifelong fan of the Bucs and one who was in attendence as the goal posts were torn down following their 1st win at home in franchise history against the St. Louis Cardinals...It really bothered me to watch both the 49ers and Panthers celebrating victories over the the shell of the team that the Bucs had on the field for most of those games. I especially detest losing to the Panthers ever - cannot stand John Fox or THAT team. With that said, Gruden did the absolute best thing he could for this years team to win next week and then carry momentum into Dallas.
So yes Virginia..there is a Santa Clause AND the Bucs will win. Gruden has shown in the past that when given that extra time to prepare for an opponent -his game plan is typically a masterpiece.(ie: Superbowl XXXVII) The team has been game planning the Giants for the past three weeks with little to no planning for the 49ers or Panthers.
As for any lack of momentum...they will get that when there introduced at Ray-Jay to the screaming throng. The Giants expended a HUGE amount of energy trying to bring down the Pats...fact is that teams having played the Patriots this season - have only posted barely a .333 winning percentage in their games the following week. Couple that with the Bucs #1 Defense chomping at the bit to play, a mistake prone Eli, and a healthy Garcia-Graham-Galloway and you have all the ingredients for a similiar type performance by the Bucs as we witnessed in 2002 when the 49ers came to Tampa Bay.

Bucs. Unless, of course, Garcia gets knocked out of the game.

The word is from the San Fransisco Chronicle, that definsive coordinator Rob Ryan will be fired sometime this week or early next week.
I dont like the sound of this my fellow Buc fans. Monte's contract is up after this year and he is no spring chicken. what better way for a dad and a coach to finish out his coaching career than doing it with his son.
i really hope the bucs resign him. we all know what he has meant to the bucs franchise.

who ever did the trivia game is a moron.
two incorrect answers are correct.
which qb appeared in 4 playoff games, doug williams (79 phily,79 rams, 81 cowboys, 82 cowboys) is also correct, as is your correct answer, brad johnson.
also, how many times have the bucs appeared in an nfc championship game? the correct answer is 3, not two. (79 , 99, 02) Come on people, that means i know more than the times?? what do I win??

To George (Top of the page) your a idiot, move back to NY. Dork!

Here is a quote from Giants defensive end Justin Tuck;
"This is a pretty good momentum builder coming out of a game like this," Giants defensive end Justin Tuck said. "We are still disappointed because you don't want to lose. But I think it gives us the gauge we wanted. They are 16-0 for a reason."
In conclusion I have only got one comment and that is the Bucs had better pack their bags and prepare for this game or else it is going to be a long, long, disappointing day.

I see Tampa winning this game. Get off Gruden's back. Tampa has had the worst luck with injuries this year and any smart coach would have used the same method to give his team the best chance of winning on sunday. look what happened to the giants by playing their players: Injuries to both LB Kawika Mitchell, C Shaun O'Hara and CB Sam Madison. If Gruden had been playing his guys, who's to say it wouldn't happen to them as well?

WHAT THE HELL DOES GRUDEN HAVE TO DO TO EARN SOME RESPECT!?

I think all of Tampa Bay Bucs die hard
fans are in a dream world get real.
The real dark horse in the NFL is going to be the WASHINGTON REDSKINS
They have 2 up coming goals in mind
most important the loss of a team mate
Sean Taylor--this will be for him, &
next important factor in my down to earth gut feelings they are going to do
this for Coach Joe Gibbs as don't expect Joe Gibbs to want to continue
the rigid daily activities to be in
charge of the RED SKINS, as we all now
Joe is not getting any younger. He will
go back to his NASCAR RACE SHOP to be a
full time baby sitter for Tony Stewart,& Denny Hamlin-REST MY CASE
HAPPY NEW YEARS 2008

Ryan, look at Baltimore to compare Gruden. Billick was just fired after 9 seasons, only 3 were losing seasons. his regular season record is 80-64 and don't forget about his Super Bowl victory here in Tampa. Gruden has been with the Bucs 6 seasons, with 3 losing seasons and his regular season record is 48-48. If Gruden loses this week to the Giants, you have to wonder if he looks good this year because of his joke of a division like he did 2 years ago. The Bucs will have to face a tough NFC schedule next year (Cowboys, Packers, Seahawks) so they would be wise to wait to extend Gruden's contract. You saw what happened to them last year when they had a first place schedule.
The Bucs do have some young guys who have great up sides. Hopefully, Gaines will have a Mario Williams type progression and him and Ruud are under great leadership from Monte Kiffen and the veteran players like the HOF Brooks. The question will be will they get young talent at the key positions like QB and WR and how are the big guys on the lines going to progress. I don't think Gruden is the guy to keep this team going. He's been up and down and they need to stay up-he's not the guy to do it.

BUCS-BLIND FAITH. MORE WANT THAN WARRANT. OUR DEFENSIVE LINE WILL HAVE TO BE THE MVP. KILL THEIR RUN IN THEIR BACKFIELD. SHOULD BE A NAILBITER. RHONDE SCORES TD.

I am an Eagles fan from North Jersey and hate the Giants guts. It is the team I hate most. I pray you guys win but I don't see it happening. Giants win all the close ones and get every break. They cheat and things always seem to go their way. With your Bucs losing to Niners recently you are in deep trouble. You better be able to stop the run.
The NY media is being very cocky and are saying Giants win a close one. They all say Giants win. I hate Giants guts. I pray you guys win but don't think it will happen.
And tell Garcia to use the deep ball. Giants cannot stop that. Their secondary blows.
