Garcia will QB at Pro Bowl
Quarterback Jeff Garcia was added to the NFC Pro Bowl team Thursday, preventing the Bucs from being shut out of the annual all-star game in Hawaii.
Garcia, 37, will replace Packers quarterback Brett Favre, who pulled out of the game. It's Garcia's fourth trip to the Pro Bowl, his first with the Bucs. He earned the honor three consecutive years with the San Francisco 49ers (2000-2002). He's only the third Bucs quarterback to play in the Pro Bowl, joining Trent Dilfer (1997) and Brad Johnson (2002).

i don't know how to feel about this one it's great that garcia is in the game but it also sucks that farve won't

it is good that we are going to send a player to hawaii, but garcia? 13 td's and four ints, only 2440 passing yards? those arent pro bowl #'s
drew brees, kurt warner and donovan mcNabb all had much better years than garcia. garcia had a better record as a starter than these guys but their stats are superior.

I am glad to see some sort of representation in Hawaii. We played a decent year of football considering all of the injuries, and to have the number 2 defense and a playoff appearance, it was ludicrous to not have anyone selected. I'm not so sure that Garcia was Tampa's best player last year, but acknowledge his presence was huge and we might of won half as many games without him.
