Dunn weighing options
Warrick Dunn is taking some time to evaluate "the landscape," agent Jim Steiner said Tuesday night.
The Falcons free agent running back visited with the Bucs Monday, just hours after being released.
Steiner reportedly contacted the Dallas Cowboys to gage interest in Dunn, but the team is less than $3-million under the salary cap and has a more pressing need at receiver. Dunn also is expected to have a dialogue with the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts.
The Bucs are believed to have outlined the parameters of a contract for Dunn. If no concrete options materialize, he could agree to terms with Tampa Bay in a few days. But he might opt to visit a few more teams.
In other news, Bucs free agent center John Wade dined with coaches in Houston Tuesday night and will meet other members of the organization Wednesday at Reliant Stadium. Wade became expendable when the Bucs signed Saints center Jeff Faine hours into the free agent signing period.

This just in: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have recently informed NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell that they plan to revolutionize the future landscape of NFL playbooks league-wide. The plan involves implementing a completely new offensive philosophy, in which the team will field and offense made up entirely of quarterbacks. This new wrinkle, combined with the masturful wizardry known as "Jon Grudens' Play Calling", will stifle and confuse even the most accomplished NFL defensive minds. Bucs Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffen, after meeting with Gruden this afternoon, has released the following statement: "Jeez! I don't know what to say... that playbook makes me feel about as intelligent as John Madden sounds on TV!!!". Roger Goodell could not be reached for comment, however Gruden plans to release more info at a press conference to be held tomorrow at 10am Eastern.

ha ha ha, thats a fresh take on the "colecting QBs" bit. It wasn't funny the other ten times you cut and pasted that on the other sites either. Last time I checked, the Bucs carry 3 QBs during the season like most other teams. If the Bucs had a young solid starter they wouldn't "collect QBs" AKA: try to improve the most important position on the team. Think for yourself, don't just think what the afternoon drive guy on 620 wants you to think.

I'm lost? It's a bad thing to have three good QB when the season starts? It's hard for some of you to think hey this might be a good thing. The Bucs will not over spend for anyone in this free agent class. Just because we have money doesn't mean we just throw it away, (see Oakland, San Fran, Jax, NO) we are being smart about who we bring in. Looking at the WR class in the draft we can find 1 or 2 impact WR just be calm and let them do what they do. I believe Clayton or Stovall will step up, maybe even P. Warren. Just to see what you all will write in April I hope Allen and Gruden draft a QB in the 2nd rd.
GO BUCS!!!
