Graham back onboard

Running back Earnest Graham is back working today after suffering a twisted ankle on Tuesday.

Graham Graham is a full go, even scoring twice in a just-completed goal-line drill. Ben Troupe, who sustained a blow to the head on Tuesday, is still sidelined, probably as a precaution.

We'll have further updates throughout the day on these and other matters from camp.

Stephen - there's been a lot of talk about the Bucs and their stable of backs, however Kenneth Darby seems to have dissappeared. I had to check nfl.com just to make sure the Bucs still had him. He's still on the practice squad, right? Does he have any future at all? I remember him running so well at Alabama and for the Bucs in the preseason last year. How much of a factor will he be in this year's preseason?

Kurt

Graham looks very, very good out there. If he starts all 16 games, I see a 1500yd year for him behind a nice looking O-line. Hopefully, he'll stay healthy and keep up the good work. His breaks and shifts combined with his power really make him a great inside runner for us. I think Darby will remain on the practice squad seeing as they have already let Boyd go.

Imiss... Darby has actually been getting a great number of reps so far. He's not on the practice squad because it isn't formed until the start of the regular season. Right now, everyone is on the active roster, to be technical. Given Cory Boyd is done, I'd say Darby is a good candidate for the practice squad again.

Kurt

Yes, my wording was a bit vague Stephen. Thanks for clearing that up concerning the practice squad. Everyone's on the practice squad right now, or vice-versa.

Stuart Laake

I would say based on what I saw over the weekend and what he brings to special teams that Clifton Smith has a better shot at making the practice squad than Darby

SC

Without Graham, the Bucs will not go anywhere this season.

Graham must have had a pretty good off season. He looks as if he is ready this year. Even the injury Tuesday couldn't keep him off the field Thursday. The boy is ready. If the offensive line is as good as being predicted. We may bring one of those trophies home in February. FINGERS ARE CROSSED!! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense is always on point. Just look at where we were ranked last year. And I think the defense may have even improved since last year. But that remains to be seen. Bring on the regular season. Show and Prove. Go Bucs!!

I had a chance to briefly meet Earnest when I was a student at UF. He seems like a real cool guy. I'm very happy for him. He's a great story. Go Gators and Go Bucs!
