Bucs back to work this afternoon

After wrapping up training camp by canceling the final practice on Thursday, the Bucs will make final preparations for Sunday's Patriots game with an afternoon workout today at One Buc Place.

From here on out, the Bucs will only practice once a day, now that training camp's two-a-day sessions are over.

We'll especially want to get updated on the status of receiver Joey Galloway and quarterback Jeff Garcia, but don't expect either to play in the next game.

Also, the Bucs will have a Saturday morning walkthrough at MacDill Air Force Base. The event is for military personnel only and is not open to the public.

Matt

It will be good to see John Lynch back at Raymond James stadium on Sunday night

tradewinds loser boy moser

lynch maybe pretty much done now, but the bucs should have never released him very unclassy move after all he did for the bucs.

Mark

I agree matt, it should be nice

we havn't seen lynch here since the broncos came here I think in 2004 or 2005.

DV

no... the bucs should never release anyone, lets keep every player till they can barely walk...

AJA

The Bucs did Lynch what the Packers should have done with Favre...you're not in our plans so you can go play where ever you want.

Gee maybe we should have kept big fat Sapp too. He did nothing at the Raiders because he was washed up. An unclassy man for sure!

John Lynch

DV,

Your a jerk. I hope your in the stands on Sunday night.

jon

i remember our safties sucking the couple years after Lynch left (or should i say chased out of) Tampa. Never should have happened. Sapp, I understood, but we havent had any real good safeties till last year, where Phillips finally came around and we got lucky with Tanard Jackson.I believe Lynch was making highlites and playing in the Pro Bowl the year after as a Bronco while Buc players were at home....

d

Lynch wanted a guaranteed starters job here. Sorry John, doesn't work like that. See ya!

higher ground

Jon - get facts before you type. The first year after releasing Lynch the Bucs defense finished 1st (yes, first) in the NFL vs. the pass. Don't let your sentimental feelings cloud your thoughts. You don't "remember our safeties sucking". And Lynch is the first safety in the history of the NFL to make the Pro Bowl after having ZERO interceptions during the regular season - ZERO. Oh and he did it twice. So speak not of what you do not know.

Brandon

ATTENTION:

Whomever tried to impersonate John Lynch did a terrible job. Lynch is a smart guy, went and graduated from Stanford. He most certainly would not have made the rudimentary mistake of confusing the word "your" with the contraction "you're"... and even if he were stupid enough to do that once, he surely wouldn't have done it twice in tthe same post.
