Lo Neal goes to the Ravens
Many of you have asked about the Bucs' interest in Lorenzo Neal after Tampa Bay conducted a personal workout with him last week.
The Bucs appear to have passed.
Neal has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, adding depth to their backfield. The veteran fullback spent one season with Tampa Bay in 1998. The Bucs rushed for 2,148 yards that season -- second most in team history.

yeah, the year he blocked for the A-Train.

My complaint is that the Bucs ever let Neal get away in the first place - I remember thinking at the time that it was a big mistake.

I agree. The "Rhino Package" was with him, Dave Moore, and Alstott running up the gut. Talk about instilling fear in the hearts of safeties and LB's throughout the league. Too bad we missed out on him again. Best of luck to you Lo!

Old fullbacks aren't typically good for much but a cracked spine and severence pay.
