No Showtime? Better call your cable provider
Those premium channels can get expensive, judging by my ever-increasing cable bill.
But here's one reason to subscribe to Showtime: Former Buc Warren Sapp will be joining the cast of the popular show Inside the NFL this fall. The show moves from its longtime home on HBO to Showtime this year, and it will be nothing if not interesting.
Even if you don't like Sapp, and there are plenty of people who don't, you have to admit this will at least spice things up on what already is a pretty decent show. The first episode premieres on Sept. 10.

He will last a week.

Shut your filthy sewer, Greg.

Uh, last time I watched Inside the NFL, it was on HBO.

One of the problems Warren Sapp had as a football player should serve him well as analyst, or commentator, whichever you prefer. Warren always tells it like it is, which makes coaches and general managers cringe, but will serve him well on Inside the NFL because they are paying him to have an opinion and speak it. He has never been short an opinion and he was never shy about telling you what it was. I look forward to it!

Hey confused come out the basement! HBO dropped it and Showtime picked it up! Are we moving too fast for you?

I hope Sapp chokes that pencil neck Collinsworth!
It will interesting what Sapp has to say because he won't hold back. He doesn't sugar coat and suck up like almost every other commentator.

Agreed DR. I'm not aware of a more annoying human than Chris Collinsworth. Although it was interesting when he was on Fox NFL Sunday. Those guys used to rip him every week. Pretty hilarious stuff. I think Sapp will smack him around a bit.

I like Warren Sapp. I have always liked him. He is probably the best under tackle in NFL history. He gave everything he had to the Bucs on the field. He was a great player and should be a first try Hall of Famer. The people who didn't like him were the obsessive autograph hounds who got their feelings hurt.

Sapp is much more entertaining than any of the douche-bag eggheads they have on that show now. Probably a lot more entertaining than any of the morons on any of the football "analysis" shows.

James, I am a big fan of Sapp as a player (and maybe as a commentator), but Sapp was universally unfriendly. This included media (when he did not want something from them, sponsors (after they had coughed up the coin) and other people that were not seeking autographs. Why Sapp was so unfriendly, I have no idea.

I acutally prefered the Jerry Glanville, Bonnaducci, Collinsworth, pre-Bob Costas era of the show.

No one is more irritating than Chris Collingsworth, except Bob Costas. They need to start a day time talk show.

What's up peeps? Big 99 here ... yeah, I can be a real jackass at times -- but that's only when the camera's not rollin!
PS) one of these years I might even open up that HipHopSodaShop

I am in love with Warren Sapp actually. I must say that in order to feel good, I don't like hiding my feelings as you all know

Guys, I want to buy Jon Gruden a nice gift, what should I get him? He really is the perfect man for me. The way he coaches is just magnificent, it's like reading the greatest love poem ever, he's poetry in motion. Anybody know if he likes chocolate? I truly do think I can win him over.
