CookThe Bucs signed fullback Jameel Cook and placed fullback Byron Storer on injured reserve, the team announced in a news release.

Cook played with the Bucs from 2001-05. He has 15 carries for 43 yards and 81 receptions for 486 yards and three touchdowns in his career.

If his ability is close to that of when he was originally here, that's a great fill-in for the FB position. However, I have no clue as to how he performed over in HOU

He performed well... until he was busted for posession of the bud.

I like Cookie, he'll come in hungry.

LOL @ Bulls fans who thought Moffitt was gonna get drafted... you guys are pathetic.

Nice sign. I really like Cook's ability to catch out of the backfield. Pretty devestating blocker also. However, we NEED BJ Askew back asap.

I'll take this all day. At least we know he didnt get cut for performance reasons in HOU. He should be able to help us out for a while.

I like this move as well. A little bud never hurt anybody and atleast it was not for getting loaded at a ABC Liquor Store and beating the hell out of his lady. This guy can play and if health permits should be a nice temporary solution till Askew comes back.

Smart pickup. If he's still in shape, should help right away. Is also a great pass threat on those dink and dunks Gruden cherishes.

I remember him being a standout on special teams as well. Good signing.

caddy where are you?

Jameel? Know where I can get any of that weed?

icth, up your but and around the corner

Umm, I guess that the Bucs don't care that Jameel got busted for possession of marijuana just before he was cut by the lowly Texans?

Hells yeah! Brotha's got the weed hook-up! Can you score me a lid?
