Injury update: Three skip Denver trip

No surprises here, but the Bucs have updated their injury report to reflect the fact WR Joey Galloway (foot), FB B.J. Askew (hamstring) and S Sabby Piscitelli (elbow) did not make the trip here to Denver.

Galloway and Askew were ruled out on Friday. Piscitelli was listed as doubtful. It's hard to say when Galloway is expected back. No one at One Buc Place has expressed much optimism about his prognosis. Regarding Askew, he admitted to us last week he would be sidelined awhile with the hamstring injury, which is severe.

The updated means RG Davin Joseph did make the trip, bringing him one step closer to returning to the lineup Sunday against the Broncos.

thats good news for Joseph... but i really like sabby and hopefully he will suit up for next week

Oh no not Sabby, he is my favorite buc, and I can't take him not being with the team. Plus he is the new John Lynch. They should have taken him there. This is Grudens fault, I am going to hold my breath until Gruden leaves.

Davin Joeseph actually breaks his foot, and comes back in 4 weeks. Now Joey has been out for 3 weeks already, and all he had was someone touch it funny. Is this a Gruden demotion like Garcia?

Who is the backup kicker now?

I wish they would cut Galloway already. He's just wasting a roster spot that a younger WRcould use.

please IR galloway the glass jaw and open a roster to a player who will play or be able to contribute to a win even if it's on the practice field

Hate to say it, but it is starting to look like Galloway has retired & is stealing paychecks.

*still waiting for someone on here to interject that we should cut Galloway and pick up Parris Warren...it's bound to be said with you guys*

CUT- Galloway. Can you name the one play that he hurt his foot. NO. Neither can anyone else. You can break a bone and be back in 3-6 weeks. This is week 3.

Umm, I already said that, chief! See my post? I wish they'd cut Galloway and sign a younger WR, plus put #10 on the field. Young guys don't get better sitting on the bench or playing on the practice squad, they need game day experience. Galloway is old, a slow healer, and above all else he has proven to be selfish and not a team player. He doesn't fight for the ball, and if a pass is slightly off, he'd sooner turn his back to it than try to make a play on it. I remember his tantrum in the playoff loss to NYG, do you? We don't need his papmered white tiger butt anymore.

Oh yeah, one more thing... Davin Joseph ACTUALLY BROKE HIS FOOT and is nearly recovered. Proof again that Galoway is over the hill and needs to call it quits. I have been very satisfied with how opposing defenses can no longer key in on the one guy (Galoway) and how Griese spreads the ball around (Unlike Garcia). We are a better TEAM without those 2, like it or not. And last time I checked, this is a team sport.

Galloway is padding his retirement by not playing and collecting paychecks. What a douche bag.

Stupid people make rash comments. Galloway is our ONLY deep threat. Once he's healthy and out there stretching defenses, Griese won't have to force every throw into tight coverage you douche bags! Get a grip would you? Selfish? How in the world has Galloway been selfish? He's been a 1000 yd receiver 3 years running and a model citizen! You need to get your heads on straight and be thankful we've been able to win without our only deep threat on this football team!

Galloway is being punished by 'baby Al Davis' for taking Garcia's side...

Kurt, he is far from a good team mate, otherwise he wouldn't be leaving the sidelines every time he gets a boo boo or has his ego bruised. Like in the playoff game last year. #10 would be a deep threat if they'd let him play. You people kill me. If y'all had your way Sapp and Lynch would still be out there on the field when they're 86 years old and eating all their meals through a straw. People get old. Galloway is old. Joseph's foot was broken and he may play today. Someone stepped on Galloway's pinkie toe and he's collecting fat checks to do nothing.

Kurt, please explain how Galloway is the Bucs only deep threat? He can't be a deep threat with a phantom injury. The guy has been a liability and the only game he played in this year, it looked like he was playing past not just his prime, but his career. His career is over and release him now. Nobody is going to pick the sissy up.
The other mysterious player with an injury, Garcia, if Gruden is going to have him as a 3rd string QB, then release him too. Why pay a guy $2M to be 3rd string?
I guess Galloway will truly be a deep threat since Griese will have to throw the ball 2,000+ miles to get it to him. I hope Galloways pedicure goes well today.

D.Bag,
I agree, they drafted Jackson as a receiver, why not stick his butt out there and let him have a chance to earn his money.

Though, last week, I will admit, he did well as a returner, but a #2 draft pick should be on the field a little more then 6-8 plays a game, especially when receivers drop as many balls as the ones on this team do.

Yeah, Mr. Diver Down was at it again today...what a joke, actually LOST us yardage, LOSER! Gruden's draft book ACTUALLY said, DeSean Jackson....typos suck
