NFC South lead slips away
One of the byproducts of Sunday's dreadful loss at Dallas is the Bucs are now a game behind in the NFC South.
They entered the game tied with Carolina for the division lead, but with the Panthers improving to 6-2 with a win over Arizona, the Bucs fell out of first place.
The Bucs have a chance to make up some ground next week when they travel to Kansas City while the Panthers enjoy their bye week.

The Bucs are not going any where and to lose to the Cowboys at their house is not a total loss. This is a solid football team and at KC they will get the win back and remember they still have a game up on Carolina for the beating we gave them. Win the division get healthy as possible and this team could make some noise.

It's only half way through the season. There is plenty of time for the Bucs to iron out the wrinkles & take charge in the second half. We all understand it is more important to be hot at the end of the last 8 games then at the end of the first 8 games.

losing at big D is not a total loss? which universe do you live in? the bucs looked horrible, totally inept on offense. if this was really their best effort then they have no business even thinking about the SB they are not even close to being a contender
at least kiffin gets his defense to show up most games gruden is incapable of doing that but since they looked like total incompetent idiots today particularly the o line they will show up next week against a loser team and again act like they are contenders, they are not contenders they are pretenders AND GET RID OF TRUEBLOOD!!!

Wasnt very good??? What game did you watch, The running game??? Did the Bucs even bring any running backs to the game? 48 yards? You call that a running game . They flopped... just like everyone said they would do against Dallas

We have a 6 foot 7 tight end and not once did the Bucs try throwing to him in the endzone. The company excuse line is the 4 deep defense the Cowboys were playing, but as Moose noted, the corners were playing back so if you are a football genius you keep throwing short quick stops and slants over and over again. It was no less than 5 yards everytime they did it. Eventually they would have to come up and that would open up 15 and 20 yard gaps in the zone. The offense was the real let down, but I am pretty upset at Ronde Barber. He seems to be playing with anger now and that doens't work. The Cowboys Barber was out of field and couldn't turn the corner so the play would have ended in another couple of steps so Ronde "having to make a tackle" wasn't good football! The problem is still with Gruden and the offense. Just like in Denver, bad defense and we hold their offense to 16 points, but... Oh nevermind!

I would like to know how does a last place team like Rams can put up 34 points on the board while a team in first place in their own division can put up 9 points. Losing 3 games to teams that have suspect to shaky defenses that is last in the league. Bullheaded and idiotic coaching.

Whay are we playing so poorly on the road? We should have beat both Denver and Dallas.
