Cadillac has a hamstring injury?
The injury mysteries continue at One Buc Place.
The daily 4 p.m. injury report surprisingly lists RB Cadillac Williams as having a hamstring injury and lists his status for Sunday's game as questionable.
This is the first mention of any such injury for Williams and it comes only hours after Jon Gruden indicated there was a good chance Williams would play at Detroit.
"Carnell has done some good things and I think he'd be ready to play," Gruden said earlier this afternoon. "There's a chance."
A player listed as questionable has a 50-50 chance of playing in a game. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this business between now and Sunday's kickoff at Ford Field.

And we wanted to place the fate of our running game in Glass' hands? Jeez...

Not like we were expecting to see him get a lot of action this week, but this makes it look like we'll be relying entirely on Dunn & Smith. This is tough.

Okay I give up, what exactly is the plan at running back? Dunn doesn't have the size for the short yardage and everybody is going to see that full back quick hitter coming now. It might be helpful if they would spread out the offense and bootleg or playfake on the short plays every once and awhile!

Mike Bell... oh crap! Damn you New Orleans!
What about Darian Barnes? Oh crap, damn you New Orleans!
Is Cedric Benson available?

Normally, I would be nervous about the health of our RB's, and then I remembered one very VERY important thing about this week's game:
We're playing Detroit.
Thee of 0-10 record.
Now, it could be a classic trap game, but let's be fair, they suck. They've worked long and hard to be that bad, so we should give them the credit where it is due. You don't get to be that terrible without seriously putting forth an effort to lose, and it seems that all their energy is paying dividends. Congratulations are deserved. I'm just hoping that the Bucs are the kind of team that can help them achieve that dream of absolute terrible perfection - 0-16.
Seriously. You can put Dunn and Smith back there all game, and they'll be fine. We have a great o-line and receivers that can extend the play. I would not be concerned.

I was Aaron Law once but I changed my name. This is really crazy!!! LOL
Jay, It is exactly that we are playing the Lions that worries me. We have a tendency to play down to competition, seemingly just to keep the game interesting. I am crossing my fingers and hoping for no injuries and lots of points.
