Earnest Graham absent again
RB Earnest Graham was not present for the start of today's practice in the limited time allotted for the media to watch the workout.
That raises concerns about Graham's knee which he injured against Kansas City. Graham was sidelined for Monday's practice and coach Jon Gruden said Graham's condition is a concern. If the Bucs are without Graham this weekend against Minnesota, it increases the likelihood Cadillac Williams will be pressed into service. The Bucs also could look to rookie Clifton Smith, who took snaps at running back against the Chiefs.
We'll update Graham's condition after speaking with Gruden following practice.

So, if Dunn is banged up and Graham can't go...Caddy could possibly be looking at a start? Sheesh, cutting Jackson should've been the plan and not Bennet because at most you have two healthy runningbacks Sunday facing off against the Williams Wall.

What about Dunn? Was he at practice?

Even if Dunn is still hurt, we will have two healthy RBs - Caddy and Clifton Smith. Don't forget that Smith beat out Bennett for the roster spot.

that's a good point CW...
i'm thinking that we should have kept Bennett for a couple more weeks, but if Clifton Smith beat him out, then he probably wouldn't play anyway...that makes sense...
if it's Caddy and Smith, i'm sure Smith will get the bulk of the carries....We'll see how that goes...
Go Bucs !!!

I would feel much more comfortable with Smith starting, just because Dunn is the kind of RB who doesn't NEED a lot of touches to break one. Caddy is. At least he'll get to make a home debut.

Let's see as I look into my crystal ball! Hmmm! Yes, here it is, "Graham will be a game time decision!" 'Nuff Else Said!!!

Yeah, I really think we're looking at Smith getting the nod here with perhaps some spot work by Caddy. It's gonna make it a tough game. Smith did well when he played, but if we can't create respect for the run, this game might look a little too much like the Denver game. However, maybe Caddy is doing better than anyone thinks...

Hey all... Little more info for you. It appears Dunn is just fine, or at least good enough to complete today's light practice. It looks like he is going to play Sunday.

why are you idiots always clamoring for cutting Jackson? you want to cut a 2nd round rookie in the middle of his first season when you HAVE NOT even seen him do anything but return kicks? are you insane? how about we let him develop as a WIDE RECEIVER, which was after all what he was drafted as, and then make a logical, rational, sane assessment.

If Graham can walk he'll play. Caddy shouldn't be pressed into immediate action. He might break.

Well put David!

so, who exactly is capable of blocking on running plays and picking up the blitz on passing downs? What is the plan Jon?

ronde barber and dexter jackson should be washing cars and not playing on this team as they are both complete bums at this point when are the bucs going to wake up and smell the coffee and wipe their collective azzes of these duds...bennett should be on this team and carrying the ball 40 time per game.

jersey buc- It looks like Askew will be back Sunday. I hope so. No one comments but he will be a key addition to the line up. He is a hell of a blocker and has good hands coming out of the backfield. He would be a hugh lift for us.

Does Joey Galloway still play for the bucs???

Best news I've heard if JK is right about Askew returning. I understand Brian Clark might get in as well. He and Smith both looked good early in the year.
We're going to need these guys, Vikes are tough.

Throw Williams in there so he can get hurt like he always does, I just hope he doesn't cost us with the game (as usual) with his usual act of running backwards, dropping passes and putting the ball on the ground.

its a mirage yall...Bucs arent gonna run it a whole lot especially against that front seven...so look for Garcia to come out slinging looking for quick strike opportunites to get quick scores so that the vikes cant use AD effectively...
