FOX to give Bucs a little pub
For all those who have been complaining about the lack of national airtime devoted to the Bucs, you'll have less reason to moan as FOX is planning to air a feature on the Bucs during Sunday's pre-game show.
Reporter Pam Oliver was here this morning interviewing coach Jon Gruden and several players, including Jeff Garcia and Ronde Barber. She didn't drop any hints about the content, but said I should definitely tune in.
So, there you have it. A little pub is better than none.

Stephen,
Off the subject a bit, but will the third Barber twin (Shawn Alexander) be signing here soon? We could use a physical back for the short yardage and God knows how much Gruden/Allen love a reclamation project.

Alexander? Are you kidding? Talk about a low impact soft back. Not needed here. Not really good on goal line runs, at least not now. How long did he last in Washington? 4 weeks?
I thought we were talking about a pub where I could pick up a pint... I thought that was too good to be true.

The word on Alexander is he won't play special teams, can't pick up a blitz, and he hasn't got any drive left in him, which makes him of absolutely no use to the Bucs! If he had anything to offer he would probably still be playing for Washington!

Who cares about the pub!!!!!!! Just keep winning under the radar. The last thing the Bucs need is more media around. Save that for Eli and Brett.

All the publicity will come AFTER the game. It could be for how the Bucs defense impeded Drew Brees' MVP run, or how the Saints pulled one off and got back into the playoff hunt. I'm personally hoping for the first one. And THAT'S when I expect the sports pages to take notice.
I mean, c'mon. The Arizona Cardinals have gotten more publicity on ESPN and CNNSI than the Bucs. And they're in the worst division in the NFL.

Well the CARDINALS deserve some props considering the season they`re having after 30plus years they will win their division, but I agree the BUCS never seem to get any credit from the media. But thats cool, keep it under the radar until we get in the playoffs...again!!

While this registration process was probably needed, it seems flawed.

This registration is stupid and its because of the minority of the people on here who cried because they have no sense of humor. There were a few stupid comments here and there but who cares. I was impersonated all the time and I didn't care. Grow some thick skin and be real americans and support what we came here for...freedom. Those people who cry about everything are the clowns who can't turn the "offensive" radio/tv off. If you want everything you do governed, move to china because you're not american.
I guess most of you may be happy that I can't blog on days anymore since the login is blocked by my work place.

Now we're surely jinxed. Who cares what kind of national coverage we get. Doubt if the team does either. Most teams would rather sneak up on an opponent. I know Gruden would. Pam Oliver is just fluff. My girlfreind knows as much about football as she does.

Its good that the Bucs are getting props on the national level. They have played hard this seaon and deserve some attention for their efforts.
As far as the off topic point of having to sign in, its a wonderful thing as well. Not only are these posts not so negative most of the time, but they are also much less juvenile. It was getting pretty bad there torwards the end. Most of it was just senseless dribble.

holy crap! i am signed in as my real identity, not this Aaron Law character. i have been trying since this typepad thing started to get it straightened out. it is about time. i was going to give up and stop posting, but alas it works. man dont the lions look really bad? i feel bad for Rod and the rest of the former Bucs.

The Cards will win their division because their division is HORRIBLE...i even read something where NBC is pushing to change the Bucs-Chargers game to the Cards-Patriots game. As someone who is forced to watch the Cards every week this would be the worst thing they could ever do.The Bucs never get props....
