Harris responds

Only two of the four U.S. Senate candidates appeared at Tuesday night's candidate's forum in Tampa - LeRoy Collins and Peter Monroe. (Here's the story if you missed it).

David Storck, chairman of the Republican Party of Hillsborough County, told us that all four candidates had committed but Harris canceled on Friday due to a conflict with a fundraising event.

The Harris campaign called to tell us that wasn't true. Spokewoman Jennifer Marks said the event was never on Harris' schedule. "It was never down on her calendar."

Was it staff or are you calling the good GOP Chairman from Hillsborough County a liar? Or was the Chairman just being nice to you and covering for another screw up by your campaign because you do not have enough staff left to adequately handle the work-load because they have all quit?

Everyone: please pray for the remaining campaign staff because I can GUARANTEE that they are getting pummeled, screamed at, and office items thrown at them. For someone that claims to be religious, she sure knows and uses a lot of curse words.

by the way everyone...i certainly heard that it WAS in fact on her schedule (ms. debord is just a moron with no education) and that ms. harris backed out at the last moment because her campaign manager (another moron) was telling her not to be in the same room with the other candidates. so why does she lie so much? stop blaming everyone else!! and if you do blame someone else...name them! say "it was my new fresh faced moron of a campaign manager who has never run a race in his life that told me to not go to editoral boards and not to go to forums with the other 3 candidates"...lets just be honest from here on out kids!

Thanks for the kind words BigDog but I still find 'KH Forever' the highlight of the blog. His/her humor is dry and subtle and hilarious. I just speak the truth about the worst experience of my life and everyone else that has worked for her. The worst. Why don't you hear from current and former staffers standing up for her saying she is kind, friendly, wonderful, a terrific boss? Why? Because she is mean and nasty and manic.

KH is receiving nothing in comparison to the pain and anguish and humiliation that all her current and former campaign staffers have endured (as well as her congressional staff).

SRQ deserves better. Florida deserves better. America deserves better.

(Somewhere in Florida -- or so Katherine told me) -- The Katherine Harris for U.S. Senate campaign today said the candidate missed the Hillsborough REC meeting because of Bill Gates.

"Bill Gates is a spoiled little brat who was born with a silver-spoon in his a** -- er, uh, mouth. His program, Microsoft Outlook is flawed. I told him when he loaded it on my computer and he just smiled that toothy grin of his. He should consider getting braces, and he's so skinny he makes Olive-oil look like Jabba the Hut," Harris said.

"These outrageous attacks on my computer will not be tolerated. I will fire anyone who puts malicious viruses on my office program, Lotus Notes. These unethical lapses will not be tolerated until people quit. Then I will blame them relentlessly without acutally naming them," Harris added.

"My new team of dedicated morons --er, I mean Mormons, yes, that's what I mean. They are very religious. I mean VERY religious. They make my Spiritual Advisor Dr. Dale Burroughs look like, well, a normal person," Harris added.

"I know Al Gore did not invent the Internet, because I did. Oh, and just because there was only one idiot at the entire meeting wearing one of my stickers, doesn't mean I am going to lose," Harris concluded.

Media reports later noted that Bill Gates was not born rich, that Harris doesn't know how to operate Outlook -- much less Lotus Notes, and that neither she nor Al Gore invented the internet. Accounts also questioned Harris as to whether she has EVER fired anyone. After promising to check on that for five days, she failed to produce the name of a single person she ever fired (not even Eddie!). The media basically agreed that her current staff are morons and that a fish rots from the head down so it's Harris' own damned fault.

If we go back to Anita Kumar's original post that triggered all this love and respect for Rep. Harris, I think we see another perfect example of her lying to the press, her staff, and once again (like in election 2000) the voters of Florida. I feel all politicians fib, dodge and weave on issues and events, but this woman is an insult to the intellect of the voters. The Democrats have always known she was a lying fraud, but it only took a decade for you Re-pubies to recognize the insanity.

When I worked for KH, she boasted all the time about firing useless and worthless staffers. However, if you ask any of her past campaign advisers or staff, they all said no one has ever been fired by KH. When you ask her past congressional and secretary of state staff, they do not recall anyone ever being fired by KH.

Instead, she berates you, stabs you in the back, humiliates you in front of colleagues, screams and cusses at you in front of campaign volunteers, and wears you done until you quit. AND THIS IS JUST THE GOOD, EFFECTIVE STAFF. I can't imagine what she does to you if she really thinks you suck.

Ingram and Hodas never released any lists of endorsements. They had staff confirming endorsements before doing anything. The web posting of endorsements came up last week -- long after they quit. Harris is a liar!

9:58am-i believe you because whenever she blames staff for her mistakes it truly was her YELLING, SCREAMING and DEMANDING staff to do what she says. She can't stand for people to give her advice thats in her best interest. She wants it done her delusional way or no way...and then when she screws up she blames staff because that only makes sense to her.

The reason she goes through so much staff is because they are tired of "cleaning up" her mistakes. They are tired of getting their name dragged through the mud. Jennifer Marks will soon realize that this job/pay check is NOT worth what she will deal with after she leaves. The ridicule and disbelief of staying on after KH has made a mockery of her.

Katherine Harris had a rally today in orlando. Rumor has it that only 40 people showed up. what is funny is that she was handing out flyers the previous evening, in winter park, which announced that there would be several congressman there and also Mel. None showed.
Once again she was caught with a fake endorsement...this time with a BIG name in political circles. I'll give a hint...former speaker of the house, and currently ranked as 2nd most powerful man in central florida.
folks we are witnessing history with this race...read the papers in the morning.
i read this blog to keep up to date on the implosion. and the rumnors are true, she is losing a key staffer very shortly.

she use to make us put names of people on flyers and such that we KNEW would never show and KNEW would never be okay with...but if we didn't she would threaten us! i remember countless times she would tell us "no sean hannity will do it, put his name on the invitation"...low and behold...sean never agreed. it was terrible.

My only answer to you is this. After speaking with many of her ex staffers I have come to this conclusion.

It was only the first exodus of people (US SENATE RACE) that it became really public that she was and had been losing people like the titanic lost water. She for the most part had kept it under wraps and no one had really cared too much before then. She was really just Congresswoman Harris and not really news worthy (except for a few big stories, riscorp, Indiana). THen she decides to hop BACK into the limelight last summer announcing her race AFTER the white house had asked her politely not to. So then we have small staff turn over #1 with the campaign manager and the Finance Director. THen the stories started to mount. The stories got even better with her erratic behavior and then her fathers death just threw everything off. She then went absolutley crazy and micro managed everything to the point of no return. So HUGE staff turn over #2 happens and the news just can't get enough of it. WEll with staff turnover #1 people got the balls to go against her. With staff #2 turnover people really got the balls because they had some serious backing (Ed Rollins, Jim Dornan, Adam Goodman, Anne Dunsmore, Ed Goeas). So with these HUGE heavy hitters backing them they could finally speak of what she was truly like behind closed doors. Before that no one would go to bat for them.

There you have it...your bed time story.

KH should go back to Polk County and reign at the Orchid Ball and be the Republican fundraising diva she was born to be.
(She really uses the F word?? I am truly shocked!)
