FOP backs Campbell, Crist, Bronson

The Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Democrat Skip Campbell for attorney general, Charlie Bronson for commissioner of agriculture and Charlie Crist fo governor.

From it's endorsement for Campbell: "Senator Campbell’s ability to reach across the aisle and work with a bi-partisan view point that gets the job done is an outstanding trait that we admire."

For Crist: "Charlie Crist continues to be a long time friend of the FOP and a strong advocate for public safety issues in Florida. "

For Bronson: "Having served in law enforcement, (Bronson) knows and understands the issues our members face.  Charlie Bronson is a good friend."

There will be many more for Crist just like this one!

go Charlie!!!

Another great week for Crist!

Davis is on his way to another below 50%, lackluster performance again November.

This is no more news than Davis winning the FEA was. Both very important endorsement that could obviously be predicted.

This is however a big win for Skip.

So if i am getting this right, any endorsement for Davis, Campell or SInk is a HUGE WIN and must be celebrated.

But any endorsement of Crist is either expected, no big deal, or the liberals that endorsed him are not real democrats, so no one will care.

Here is the truth. Reps endorse reps. Dems endorse dems. Unions usually endorse dems. Big business usually endorses reps.

When the opposite happens, then it is something to look at, other than that, it is something to yawn at.

Backed three Republicans.

So by all accounts Crist and Campbell have swept most of the endorsements that are not scritcly partisan. Crist and Campbell both have the PBA, FOP, Firefighters and Homebuilders (usually Republican. These are the groups that can go either way unlike the Teachers or the NRA. I am not sure how much this means, other than the isider who usually bet on winners are with Crist and Campbell.

If Skip's campaign manager actually knew what he was doing maybe these wouldn't be problems.

Rich - are you retarded? Should we start calling you Gus? What 9:43 said, if you read is that this is no big surprise for Crist to get this endorsement, just like the FEA endorsement of Davis is no big surprise. Nice try at the spin game, but sorry, you lose, thanks for playing though!

AG McCollum, what a great ring that has to it!

Sorry Skip, but it's back to the S.S. Minnow after Nov. 7th.
