Harris will appear on "Hardball"
U.S. Senate candidate Katherine Harris will appear on "Hardball with Chris Matthews” on MSNBC today at 5 p.m. It's a live interview.
Harris was on "Hardball" a few weeks ago before the primary. The guest host asked tough questions and didn't let her finish her answers. We'll see if they are kinder today.

Yea right, like Chris Matthews ever lets a conservative get their whole point out.
A couple nights ago, he spent 30 minutes of his show asking various news and political people if they think George Allen used the "N" word 35 years ago.
Didnt Robert Byrd use it 5 years ago, and wasnt he a member of the KKK? Oh yea, he is a democrat, so everyone ignores that.

Will she be live in studio?

Hey 10:20 it's not like Fox News is fair and balanced either. Gimme a break...

Her appearence will make no real difference. Nelson sits on a pat hand.

Harris script refrain:
Chris, things are going so wonderfully. We have so much momentum. Everywhere I go people tell me that I am going to win against liberal Bill Nelson. He has not done anything in his six years in the Senate.
Electing Christians? Chris, I never said that. We need people of all faiths voting. That is what American is all about. Liberal Bill Nelson doesn't want Christians voting and that is why I said what I said.
FBI Investigation? Chris, that is such old news. We are moving forward with our campaign. We won't let the liberal media or liberal Bill Nelson dictate what we do.
President Bush? He and his wonderful brother gave me a ringing endorsement. The party is unified and we will win. I am so pleased to receive the endorsement of the party leadership. Liberal Bill Nelson had a lot to do with this endorsement.
Polls? You can make the polls say anthing you want. Our momentum is building each and every day. The people of Florida want a leader and not another 6 years of liberal Bill Nelson.
Air Force One? Chris, I had to leave early for another engagement and the drive was quicker. I have already been on Airforce One, unlike liberal Bill Nelson.
Less than 50% of the vote? Republicans will rally around me in November. They don't want liberal Bill Nelson anymore.
Financial Support form GOP? We have wonderful support. Fundraising is going so well. We will have enough to beat liberal Bill Nelson.
Let's hope that Matthews can dig in a little deepar and not permit Harris to spew her tired rhetoric.

10:51--don't forget Krazy Kat will do the 3/4 turns for the camera to show off her "running mates".

I think Katherine's "running mates" are hot, I'd do her.

She will BE the ball.

10:51 is hilarious!

Just what Kathy needs...another hard ball. They should have Rhonda Storms on with her. Maybe they could mudwrestle...just for fun.

ooooooh, Katie and Rhonda in a little one-on-one. I know the Hillsborough County Sheriffs would pay to see that!… at their taxpayers expense that is. They’d at least need to see it 93 times to make sure its illegal though.

I can't wait to see Harris demolished by Matthews on Hardball.
I hope he does not let her get away with her scheme of "I am glad you asked that questions", and then delivers a speech on any topic but the question asked.
Posted by: | September 27, 2006 at 02:05 PM
2:05 - Don't they ALL do that?
Posted by: politicalspectator | September 27, 2006 at 02:35 PM
"The guest host asked tough questions.." I don't think so. I hope Chris Matthews doesn't let her get away with 10:51's script(which IS hilarious). We will soon find out.

10:51 IS DEAD ON. she will spew that same ole tired crap that she has been spewing for months now. don't people get tired of it? i hope chris sticks it to her.

Well, Hardball was not even softball, it was whiffleball. Bring back Nora O'Donnell please.
It is clear that Chris Matthews is enamored by Harris.
Basically whe admitted that she is for amnesty. Her program for a worker ID for those already here is nothing but amnesty. When are they sent home? Are they permanent residents?
Someone ought to look into her investments and the extent to which they depend on farm labor (i.e., migrant labor, most of which is illegal).

Perhaps she promised him a little something after the show...or maybe his own private "visiting" worker status.

10:51 is clearly out of a job and should look for a new one. You should have chosen to stay with THE Republican Candidate for United States Senate!
Posted by: | September 27, 2006 at 11:11 PM
10:51 and 11:02 should go on the road. Those are the funniest posts I've read on this blog in a while.
Good job, guys!
Posted by: | September 28, 2006 at 12:45 AM
11:11 -YOU ARE CLEARLY BEING PAID BY THE KRAZY TRAIN TO COME ON HERE AND POST THAT GARBAGE. GET OVER YOURSELF...WE ARE ALL EMPLOYED ON HERE.
Posted by: | September 28, 2006 at 10:05 AM
11:11 Why do you think anyone is unemployed? That is a strange issue to raise. You must be jealous of something or unemployment must be something you face on a regular basis. You posting belies your age and experience.
Posted by: | September 28, 2006 at 12:14 PM
11:11 must be referring to some former Harris staffer
Posted by: | September 28, 2006 at 12:15 PM
12:15-that is exactly what they are referring to. but the very sad truth of the matter is that all KH's "ex staffers" are employed. the sad reality is that when they went to their new campaigns they were embraced because everyone knows how sick in the head KH is.
sorry KH...your secret is out...everyone knows you are an unbalanced woman (and that is stating it nicely)
