Max Linn's Mission
Reform Party gubernatorial candidate Max Linn has pumped $1-million of his own cash into his campaign and spent hundreds of thousands on statewide TV ads during shows like The Today Show, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. He has the campaign managers of former presidential candidate Ross Perot and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura. And he has recruited as his lieutenant governor Tom Macklin, the Avon Park mayor who proposed to make English the city's official language and to issue fines against landlords and businesses that help illegal immigrants.
It's still not enough. Full story here.

Does anybody think this guy will get any traction at all? And if so, who does it hurt?

The reform platform itself is extremely attractive to a very large percentage of the electorate. The problem is getting noticed. That is why most of the third parties that have been relatively successful were already famous before they ran for office (Ventura, Perot, etc.).

Will Perot help him?

Like Perot, he's putting a lot of his ownmoney into the race. At least he will force discussion of issues other than the usual party lines. It is good to have choices.

What's a prevert?
Corrine Delivers! Delivers nothing for her constituents and free cars for her daughter!

As a protest candidate, Max Linn will pull 5% easy, but never more than 10%. Most will come from folks who dislike politics in general. It may hit Crist slightly more than Davis, since he is the frontrunner, but that depends on which issues Linn focuses on; and which issues the press plays up. Too early to tell which. But he will NOT share a televised debate with the major party nominees.

He looks like a nice young man. He'll get the menopause vote. Its a rogueish Clinton thing he's got going on there. He's my none-of-the-above vote!

Maybe Max seems like a pervert to Charlie;
Because the single and popular Max Linn likes the company of women.
I'm sure that is Repugnant to the Republican Monk Pseudo Conservative-of- Convenience Crist or he would have us believe that he is.

Max is OK,he had leadership in the 70's and lead forward.As any construction goes its a work in progress,and he has learned.Crist was walking the halls of High Schools in the 70's shaking hands in a suit telling people he was going to-be Govenor someday. Well Crist is Govenor Today,lets see what he does,if its for capitalism he's a suck-up kiss-ass.
Max is not a suck-up kiss-ass,allthough is attracted to money for in a local sense.While not totally consumed by scratching someones back to-get a positions in the state of his origin.The man does have his limits,like most locals do.Max,I believe has the ability to lead Florida,like know other,because of his backround.Max lived like anybody else in Florida,and we have paid to-much,he knows it.
MY OPINION
