Could the heavily Republican Katherine Harris seat be up for grabs? Democrat Christine Jennings says her internal 10/3-4 poll of 400 voters shows her beating Republican Vern Buchanan 50-38 in CD 13, a slight gain since her last poll in September. This after Buchanan has been flooding the airwaves casting Jennings as a tax-raiser.

“It’s becoming apparent that no matter how much money Vern spends trying to buy this election, the voters of District 13 won’t be fooled by his misleading attacks,” said Jennings campaign spokeswoman Kathy Vermazen.

If Jennings wins this seat, the R's are really in trouble. The registrations in this district are 2 to 1 R. The Dems barely outnumber the independents.

1) Vern's child, Matt (the youngest), has recently acquired his pilots license and it has been said by Vern in numerous events that Matt is considering joining the Air Force after college and he would support his choice.
2) Vern was in the Air National Guard 6 years.
3) The VFW. Veterans of Foreign Wars, incase you didn't know, have endorsed Vern in this race.

So to answer your false statement, Vern would support his children joining the military (It is up to them and one is really leaning towards it) and Vern HAS the support of the Veterans....

I can answer this one: 1)She is gay and never has had a family OR children. 2) She has never served. and 3) After terrorist kill 3,000 people and receive a Fatwa (permission from a religious leader) to use nuclear weapons to kill up to 10 million people, she would like to negotitate with terrorist not kill them before they get us..... Just watch the debate they had in Bradenton and that will tell you who is qualified for the position.Jennings brings up Dem talking points that she can't explain at her own admission. Jennings is PRO CHOISE and the gay thing most likely is true because she skipped over that question at the end of the debate.

Jennings is a lesbian. She is at the Metro Coffee place frequently and I have personally witnessed her kiss another elderly female... and by kiss I mean more so than you would your mother.

It pains me seeing Buchanan described as a criminal over and over again yet there has yet to be any proof of criminal actions. The herald tribune sure tried hard to dig something out of his lucrative career but has anything ever really come of it?

I used to subscribe to the Herald-Tribune for years and have it delievered to my door, now I drive 2 miles north to get the Bradenton Herald. Why you ask? Because the liberal Herald-Tribune is communist and I am not the only one who has come up with this conclusion. Watch their subscriptions drop and the "New Herald" increased under Will Fleet.
