Better reality TV: Campbell vs. McCollum ... or Emmitt Smith doing the tango?

For all of you not obsessed with ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," local PBS-station WEDU airs taped debates tonight for attorney general and chief financial officer. At 8 p.m., it's Alex Sink vs. Tom Lee. Skip Campbell and Bill McCollum square off at 8:30 p.m. The debates will also be available via the WEDU web site.

Emmitt Smith here, not interested in 2 no personality candidates.

Katherine is going to dance tonight as well

Charlie Crist will be our next Governor. Most dont understand that this debate was not for the decided Ds and Rs partisans, that post on this blog, it was for the undecided I's and crossovers that saw a clear and friendly leader and communicator in Crist and saw a complainer and as one respondent put it "whiner without his own ideas" in Davis who kept following charlie's lead and started ever statement with "and Charlie Crist". The independent feedback from the non political partisans was that they liked Crist. Now those people dont post on blogs and are not usaully contacted by the media so you dont get their feedback. For those that track these post debate responses that talk to a cross section as I do it was very surprising that those that fall into the undecided or Independent block so strongly favored Crist post the debate. Many i'm sure will spin a away, and many of these folks are likely responding purely on partisan emotion, but from my analyses, Crist will maintain or open his lead and will win.

GO EMMITT!!

4:09... Did you watch the debate? Jim Davis came off as a hard hitting, no nonsense man with answers. Charlie came off as a waffling, pandering idiot. People may not agree with all of Davis' solutions, but they argee that at least he has some. This race boils down to a simple question. Do you want a Governor who is going to get his hands dirty and try to solve this states many crises or do you want a Governor who is going to preen like a peacock for every camera he sees all the while trying to hide a fact that everyone already knows... that he is gay? I don't have the slightest problem with Charlie being gay. What I have a problem with is that he is so insecure with himself that he can't be honest about who he is. That shines through his whole life. It's why we can't get a straight answer on Schiavo, he tries to be all things to all people. A true leader states his position and takes a calculated risk that the majority of the voters will agree more with him than his opponent. Charlie is very smart to play it the way he has, I will give him credit. The people who are stupid are the ones who can't see through his charade and will vote for him!

Skip Campbell is a dirty liar...I hope he gets exposed tonight

no doubt about skip... the trouncing on tv will be most fun to watch.

go tom!!!

TOM LEE!!!! TOM LEE!!!!!! TOM LEE!!!!

Wow the trtuh have gotten the Dvais people in a spin frenzy. There they go again with their DC paid consultants homophobic gay obsession campaign

Watch the debate. You can find summaries of DWTS including videos of each dance and the scores at

Emmitt Smith would be an excellent candidate for Governor or Senator. We can do better than this year's crop.

i'll be tuning into keith olbermann's special commentary tonight .... Go KO!

Go here and listen to the "New Times Outs Crist" audio link from South Florida's Newstalk 940 AM this morning. It's a 50,000 watt station, reaches Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Melborne, Vero Beach, Naples, Ft. Myers, etc.

I just watched McCollum and he still sounds like the snarky, super arrogant blow hard who tried to impeach Clinton.

Wow what an arrogant ass.

Do people realize Bill " Howdy Doody " McCollum is a freakin lobbyist for Verizon, a bunch of pharm companies and insurance company types.

I hope the SPT looks into his clients and puts a list in the paper.

Do people realize that Skip "Otis the Drunk" Campbell is anti-woman!

Watch this!

Here's an op-ed column from the website of The Florida Times-Union newspaper in Jacksonvile (Jacksonville.com). I think alot of Consevative Christians will find this quite revealing about Charlie Crist. I must say I was shocked by the bluntness of this article, but it pretty much lays it all out. I encourage everyone to read this.
