Dean: Early primary could mean penalties
On today's "Political Connections" DNC Chair Howard Dean warns that if Florida moves its presidential primary before Feb 5, FL Dems could lose delegates and any candidate who campaigns in Florida would have to forfeit delegates. Republicans also face potential penalties, but Marco Rubio seems undaunted:
"They have the prerogative to yank delegates but they run the risk of offending (one of) the largest and most important states on the electorate map," said Rubio, suggesting delegates have little influence anyway.

What's the big deal? Let's take the second week in February. It's better than being utterly irrelevant, which is what we are now!

How long before Rahm Emmanual sprays Dean's sushi with Polonium?

Dean is the most irrelevant chair in modern political history (soon to be eclipsed by Mel Martinez, sadly).
There is a reason he was not heard from the last cycle and there is a reason he will likely be ignored in coming cycles.

Only problem with moving up primaries is then other states do likewise, and before long the primaries for one election will be before the previous election.
And given states' rights in such matters, no matter what we do..............

Does anyone in this state have a bigger ego than Marco Rubio? His 100 ideas scam is all about his future aspirations for statewide office. Paging Johnnie Byrd.
