Dorm Mother

Last year, when former Rep. Mark Foley, R-Fort Pierce, was found to be sending nasty emails to pages in the U.S. House, Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite was quick to criticize the system for failing protect the teens.

Now she'll share in that responsibility.

House Minority Leader John Boehner has appointed Brown-Waite, R-Brooksville, to fill the final spot on the House Page Board, which oversees the page program.

In the wake of the Foley scandal, the House voted to expand the Page Board to four House members, giving equal representation to Democrats and Republicans. It also added a parent member.

it was more important for the republican party to protect one of their own than it was for the republican party to protect the teens.
shame on hastert and the rest of those clowns.

I don't think the page board should have a Chair whose name is pronounced "Boner"

It is actually pronounced "Bainer", nice try though!

Can Katherine park at the Page house so I can get her out of my spot?
