Joe Redner: Cut property taxes 30 percent

Tampa City Council candidate Joe Redner says he's a simple man and he has a simple solution to Tampa's property tax problem: Slash the rate by 30 percent. Sound crazy? Well, Redner's proposal would cost the city about $51-mililon. Gov.Charlie Crist's proposal would cost $31-million, not including the cost of making the Save Our Homes cap portable. Read more about the position of City Council candidates on property taxes here.

JOE REDNER ROCKS!

Tax cuts? Give the people a break? A wonderful idea!

Why can't we get some Republicans to say that?

Which services should Tampa cut Joe? Let me guess, LAW ENFORCEMENT?!

and along with your 30% tax cut, half of happy hour prices at mons. It just aint gonna happen.

Cut taxes on woman's clothing so they're half off, or maybe completely!

Be careful BS’rs (Blog Snipers). Your protest of Joe seems almost born of fear. He most certainly could do no worse than the pond scum in office today.

At least Joe is open about his business… while the politicians and you closet pervs sneak in the back door of Mons.

Hypocrites…

3:32pm - There aren't happy hour specials at Mons... the water always costs the same price.

Screw Redner. He's a pimp. He craves respectability and he craves attention and will do anything for it. Like saying he'll cut property taxes 30 percent. Not that long ago he claimed he was gay, and the St Pete times gave him coverage for that farce too. I voted in Tampa city elections today and it was my great pleasure to not vote for Redner. I hope every time he ventures into a political race he spends great sums of money and gets his miserable ass whacked.

REDNER ROCKS!

Zhombre is an idiot

Joe has come out of the closet again. This time as a tax cutting Republican. Go Joe!!!

While I have not been there lately, my recollection is the Mons doesn't serve cocktails. But you could say every hour is happy hour there.

3.34 drop by the Mons you might learn something. 5:16 and I might be there.
