Abe:
I think this was posted by the reporters on the junket, not the Gov's press office.
It figures, CC's meeting with the greedy Arinson family.
Haven't these billionaire shylocks finagled enough money out of the taxpayers of Miami-Dade County without trying to figure out more ways to squeeze the lemon?
The American Airlines Arena where the Miami Heat play (owned by sonny boy Mickey)are subsized by the taxpayers to the tune of almost $200 million, the new Carnival Performing Arts Center which bears the name of the cruise ship line started by deceased father Ted cost taxpayers $750 million (almost $300 million over budget).
Remember those cash strapped city and local governments who are fighting property tax cuts by threatening to curtail of essential services like police and fire???
Both are examples of welfare for billionaires. Haven't these bloodsuckers squeezed enough out of Dade taxpayers???
Wonder how much they donated to Charlie's campaign and 527???

Interest in his travels? I'd like to know why he and an entourage of 40 are really over there other than to try to gain a national platform and attention. He's only 5 months in and we have real issues in this state to deal with. He needs to get his butt back here and try to actually come up with some ideas himself rather than waiting for everyone else to do the hard work and then splitting the difference.

Termie, you really need to change your diet. You've been eating too many grapes (sour ones) and not enough fiber apparently.

well maybe you could tell me what Charlie talked to Lyn Arinson about?
Let me guess, how they can make more money off Florida taxpayers!

Summertime is upon us.Not much is happening in the world of Florida politics nor will it until the special session starts on property tax reform.
Oh, yeah...the Governor has gone to Israel, where he is advantaging himself of photo ops. Yawn

Zenator is, as usual, right.
This is a slow news time. It'll stay that way until the weekend before the special session, when all the stories about all the proposals will roll out.
Right now, there's only so much you can say about it.

Looks like the agenda of a Veep in the making. I thought campaign coffers took care of that, not my tax dollars... hmmmmmm
