Crist prays at the Western Wall

On a tour of historic and religious sites in Jerusalem Wednesday, Gov. Charlie Crist took part in a Holy Land tradition: slipping a piece of paper into the wall, bearing a handwritten prayer. He asked God to protect Floridians from "storms and other difficulties." It is, after all, two days before the start of the 2007 hurricane season. He stood at the wall with U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler.

I’m certain that God appreciated the clarification that it was “Not Printed At Government Expense”… which I find to be insulting since the “Government” doesn’t pay for a damn thing.
Note to Charlie: It’s the taxpayers who covered your trip expenses… and everything else having to do with “the people’s” Government… monkey nuts…

Wait a minute folks… Was the photo taken after he folded it and put it in the wall? The fold indicates the possibility. Therefore, the note was slipped back out of the wall and opened expressly for the photo op… if this is the case, how sincere is the prayer? Furthermore, who’s the chick holding the note for the photo? Moreover, the shading gives way to potential photoshopping…
The whole thing is a fraudulent as the faithfulness of the prayer.
“Breaking News”
Governor of Florida breaks the 3rd Commandment and uses God for a self-serving political purpose. God is reported to be very, very, very pissed. And told this reported, “Hurricanes WILL hit Florida this year.”
In a related story… Florida Legislature approved an Insurance Premium hike of 427%, and said that God told them not to give any property tax relief… film at 11:00…

Now that you mention it, it does look like the photo was taken in a car. So, it’s reasonable to suggest one of two synopses.
One. The note was written, folded, placed in the wall… then removed from the wall inconspicuously, framed for the photo for release to the press… then crumpled up and thrown in the local trash receptacle.
Or…
Two. The photo at the wall was staged, Charlie is actually taking someone else’s note out of the wall, and it was unfolded and photographed in the car on the way back to the hotel, then photoshopped on a taxpayer owned laptop by a lapdog… for release to the press.
Who writes to God like that anyway… “Dear God, Thanks so much for all that you do…” what a sacrilegious, pandering, political hack… honestly, who throws a shoe?
Reads like a script for a wine cooler commercial… or a Publix Thanksgiving commercial.

I heard Abe works in the Creative Graphics Design Department, in charge of doctoring photos for the press. In fact, I believe that’s Abe’s thumb in the photo, holding the photoshopped note. And I believe that’s Abe’s 2006 Honda Civic she’s sitting in to take the photo.

What point might you be referring to?
Although Gallagher may have been a recently converted Christian conservative politician, he always was a staunch Catholic and attended mass on a regular basis.
As far as Crist, whomever is posting questioning his religious credentials is right on.
Charlie isn't a regular church going guy.
The Christian conservatives down here in South Florida weren't fooled in the least by his so called "devoutness" when he appeared at local churches last summer campaigning.
And CC was one uncomfortable dude at the Florida Family Policy Council convention in Orlando last year.
Kind of like a fish out of water.
Are the people of Florida really that dumb or have their senses been completely numbed to the point of oblivion?
