Crist prays at the Western Wall

On a tour of historic and religious sites in Jerusalem Wednesday, Gov. Charlie Crist took part in a Holy Land tradition: slipping a piece of paper into the wall, bearing a handwritten prayer. He asked God to protect Floridians from "storms and other difficulties." It is, after all, two days before the start of the 2007 hurricane season. He stood at the wall with U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler.

yeah but the difference is, Charlie doesn't go!

Does God understand "RINO" writing?

Don't the Jewish people refrain from using or spelling out G_d's name out of repect for Him? Wasn't that insensitive of Crist to write Dear "God" and then stick it in their wall?

Doesn’t really matter… it was politically motivated, not faith motivated. He was looking to score points with voters, not God. That’s what makes it sacrilegious and contemptible.
