Romney announces county chairs
The Mitt Romney campaign announced its first group of Florida county chairs. The 59 people will lead efforts in nearly half of Florida's 67 counties. The list is here.
"This group of dedicated individuals will spearhead our local efforts to reach out to Florida voters as I continue to aggressively campaign in this important state," Romney said in a statement.

So… Mitt’s a SciFi… hmmmmm. Papa always said they’d use “stealth” candidates.
Bye-Bye America, Hello Mars.

All they could get for Broward was Rocky Rodriguez ?

I am not inspired or motivated by the Stormin' Mormon, Miss Julie Annie, the Rt. Rev. Yuckabee, Brownnose, McCain't,
or the rest of that pack.

That is a long list of nobody's and has-beens.

Congresswoman Ginnie Brown-Waite must be in charge of signs.

Flanagan? Kilmer?
Weeeeeeak!
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 01:09 PM
Romney's gonna win the Primary, but only God know who's gonna win the general.
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 01:19 PM
12:25, yeah because broward is Crist Country, therefore McCain Country. The cheerleader (sharon) is waiting for her marching orders which will probably involve another illegal endorsement from the broward REC, which would be a violation of McCain-Feingold.
One must appreciate the irony.

What's the deal with Father Jack Gray chairing Escambia county. I thought the Roman Catholic bishops discouraged their diocesan priests from getting involved in this kind of politicking, if for no other reason than to keep their tax exempt status.

The only thing sadder than this list is the fact that so many neophyte campaign moles actually believe that this crap matters.
Get Crist's or Jeb Bush's endorsement or stop wasting everyone's time with this meaningless inside baseball of joiners.

I agree with 2:01. I'm on that list it and doesn't matter much. It's about the candidate, not the county co-chair.
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:16 PM
just a bunch of losers...
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:26 PM
I agree with 2:01… I’m on the list too and all it did for me was give me a warm-n-fuzzy feeling… that also could have come from the fur-lined toilet seat in my office that you bonehead taxpayers bought me so I could sit comfortably and blog on your dime, while doing the only thing I’m good at… taking a dump...

jealousy is bitter thing, isn't it 2:42 or 2:26?
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:47 PM
So is a lemon... but you voted for one, didn't you.
... jerkweed...
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:54 PM
voted for one? Jerkweed? tisk tisk. Someone needs to take his medicine.
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:57 PM
SO, when did the Mitt’ster become a Scientologist?… anyone… anyone… Bueller… Bueller… Travolta…
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 02:58 PM
I'm hearing Sharon Day is preparing for another illegal endorsement as we speak. This time she is prepared to be out front though with it.

I only know three of these people personally, and they are all very good for Mitt. Kilmer is a very well respected former legislator who still has good connections. Dennis is very well liked in Tallahassee and will be working for a Senator when Baxley wins. Fears is young and energetic, well liked by all and a rising star in local and state politics. Good luck to all three of you. JH

May the smartest, most eddective most qualifed to be President & best looking candidate win the nomination.
OH! I guess that leaves only Mitt Romney, GO Mitt!

I saw some YRs on that list- yeah, we know they have great intuitive knowledge when it comes to predicating winners- didn't they support Gallanger

You pickle-sniffers can’t avoid the scifi question forever… it’s going to spill sooner or later!

Katherine Harris will be the next Congresswoman from the 13th disrtrict in Florida

Is Steven B. Stevens a co-chair?
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 04:29 PM
WE LOVE YOU KATHERINE! YOU GO GIRL!
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 04:29 PM
Woodard in St Johns is a good guy, tends to chose losers though. Do believe someone argued with me a few days ago saying that the YRs aren't endorsing.. and aparently they always pick winners. Go gallagher, Go Lee, Go harris, Go Romney!
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 04:42 PM
Woodard and Fears, Youth and smarts from both ends of our state. Why aren't they running a campaign?
Posted by: | June 01, 2007 at 05:05 PM
I HATE Mitt Romney because he's a bought and paid for, disingenuous flip flopper.
BUT...
It's not about picking winners. It's about defending conservative values.

They must have had to really troll to find Rocky Rodriguez, a former Broward Property Appraiser. What's next the announcement of a former chairman of a mosquito control board serving as a Romney County Chair?

Go get 'em, Willard!!!

Organizing is better than not organizing... Romney is way ahead of the other camps in organizing... all the boneheads knocking it are fools. I am not saying orgainzing will win the primary, but it will make the difference if the race is close.

the repukes know that they backed the wrong horse in 2000 and 2004. that monkey in the white house has destroyed our military with his iraq nonsense. his only support is from the evangelical lunatics and morons, still looking for that not-to-happen abortion ban they have been promised.

Has anyone seen any pictures at all of Mary Cheney and Heather Poe holding their baby? All I see are pictures of Dick and Lynne Cheney holding their new grandson. Will we see any pictures of the First Lesbian holding her new baby?

The YRs did not endorse Harris, Lee, or Gallagher. They did however endorse Jim Greer... Fact

Educate yourself. Mitt is another "manchurian candidate" ala bush. Mind controlled little slaves for the NWO. Do research his father, and his involvement in MKULTRA, as it derailed George's prez campaign in Mich. A military program supported by then congressman G. Ford, and others. A very abusive technique used to do "mind programming". Look how the media is only pushing Mitt, HIllary, and Obama. They serve the "elites" agenda. Bought and paid for is mild, it is about the new world order. Romney is a puppet for them. His Memorial Day gaff, untouched by the press, tells me this guy is being put up and rammed down our throats. John Edwards haircut made news..but not the fact that Romney does not understand our military set up, made a gaff in public and the news won't touch it? He wants to be commandar in chief? He told the military family in the event to then call their senator! OMG!!! Just look at papa's work with the Iran Contra thugs..that is who all these folks are that took us to Iraq....war profiteers! Mitt is one of THEM! Below is info on Mitt on the campaign trail, they won't show you...and another is about his father, George Romney. They are all part of the "cabal".

and now pappa....
Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachussetts, announced his quixotic campaign for the presidency today at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. It is clear that, by referencing his childhood in the Great Lakes Splendor, Mitt hopes to distance himself from his time as governor of "Taxachussetts" to make him more palatable to the Republican's conservative base. Romney was born in Michigan, the son of former Michigan Governor George Romney. George was the chairman of the now-defunct American Motors Corporation (it brought you the AMC Gremlin and the Mirthmobile from Wayne's World). Although there are questions about whether George was a "natural born" citizen, having been born in Mexico, he ran his own quixotic campaign for the presidency in the 1968 Republican Primary. His ambitions were dashed by strange comments concerning mind-control and the Vietnam war.

Organization works if its competent. Romney's organization is as hollow as his rhetoric. Its all show and no substance.

To the person whom wrote the June 01, 2007 at 04:42 PM comment. Woodard was a George W. and Jeb Bush Chair too. Not exactly losers!
Ironically, the person posting the remarks was a Randy Johnson supporter and lost his own campaign for GOP State Committeeman in Alachua County. Pot meet Kettle?
