Romney's faith and values
Maybe Florida lacks faith and values? There are only two Floridians among the dozens of people named today to Mitt Romney's National Faith and Values Steering Committee: state Rep. Dennis Baxley and Dr. Jay Dennis of Lakeland, who is senior pastor at First Baptist Church at the Mall.

“First Baptist Church at the Mall.” … at the mall?
So… you can take communion, or… grab a slice of pizza at the food court?
The dude named after a baseball glove is on the move… between JC Penny’s and Sears, near the Sunglass Hut.

The real issue is who are all the others: The Mormom Cogregation - the smae ones on whose advice he would run our country? NOT!

1:37 -- get over your freakin' self. And learn to spell while you're at it.

Fred Thompson will knock Romney out of this race by August
Posted by: | June 13, 2007 at 01:52 PM
bring it on Freddy the Hut.

Fred is polling 10 points higher than the Mittster - and he hasn't even annunced.

Not only will Thompson get the nod, he'll whip Hillary. The hillster's poll numbers won't translate to votes from the poor black women constituency, while Thompson's down home likability will pull in fence sitters. The SPT will surely ramp up it's democrat puff pieces and republican attacks - even running idiotic front page stories about an allegedly stolen watch, to distract from Bush's warm welcome in Albania. There's video that shows the President placing the watch in his pocket - but it won't be enough to overcome Thompsons charm.

Go get 'em, Willard!!!

Can anyone blame mitt for branching out of the cult into mainstream mall churches?

That's the best he could do in Florida? A no-name preacher and a guy who just lost an election?
Doesn't look too good to me.

CS Lewis' The Screwtape Letters, a very poignant writing on the rise of the popular church

Willard is a dullard.

Interesting. I wonder if any of the folks on Romney's Florida campaign team are known for strong Christian convictions?

Will polygamy and polytheism be shoved down our throats? No thanks...

Politics are about bringing people together( not always of the exact same mind as yourself) in a coalition to support the values that you want. what has Fred Thompson done besides act on TV and support campaign finance reform? As for the preacher at the Mall. A guy has to start a church somewhere. Although I find it strange you would have to shop on Sunday to go to church. Do you even know this preacher?
