Dean to Florida: drop dead???
Might the Democratic National Committee foist on America's biggest battleground state some kind of unwanted delegate selection plan for the presidential nominating process? The party rules allow that scenario, which sounds possible from Howard Dean's comments the other day to a South Carolina TV reporter.
Remember that the DNC carved out Jan. 29 for South Carolina to hold the first southern Democratic primary, only to have Florida leaders schedule the Sunshine state for the same day. Fl Democrats are trying to keep a straight face as they blame it all on Florida Republicans.
Here's what Dean told News Channel 15 in Myrtle Beach: "Well, the Florida drama is not over yet. So I think South Carolina will be well represented. ... My understanding is that South Carolina is not likely to move and that Florida is going to have a different electoral procedure than they think they’re going to have."

Democrats disenfranchising their voters? Shocking.

I love it. The Chair of the Democrat National Committee wants to disenfranchise Florida Democrats.

Dean's old scream is gonna be nothing compared to what he's going to make the Dems sounds like.

"Well, the Florida drama is not over yet."
Oh yes it is...Florida will have its primary on Jan 29. No one in this State cares what Dean or the DNC think. Their opinions are worth nothing to us. They can do what they wish with their precious delegates, but they risk losing Florida's voters in the general election.
My guess is that idiot Dean will back off and capitulate. Florida is too important to them.

Florida to Dean: No wonder you lost when you ran for President.

The Florida GOP put the Florida dems in a "mess" within their party. It's great to see Howie Dean disenfranchise his own party.

Dummy Dean and Thurmadrunk will be the primary reason the D’s lose in ’08.
Whaaaaaatch it happen!

Say what? You are saying that the Democrats will not let all of the votes count!

Wait...isn't the 2000 election the rallying cry of the Democrats. They are basically a one issue party of whiners

No, we haven't forgotten about the 537-vote "margin" that the Governor found for his brother, George Walker Bush, in November 2000. So thank you John Ellis Bush for all you have done for Florida and for the nation.

537 votes,
Even 7 years later, y'all can't give up on the election. For some people, the defining moments in their lives are children's births, weddings, etc. For libs, its the 2000 election and Vietnam. By holding on to them makes you look pathetic. To quote one of your 527's, Move On.

Maverick - That 537-vote margin led to the dumbest president since Warren Harding, and the results are hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of American lives spent in a country that wants us the hell out. So if you happen to say the same thing in person to someone who lost a loved one in Iraq, be prepared to get your butt kicked. (I'm assuming they won't be able to find your nuts.)
So yeah, we still take it personally. But when we get back into power, y'all may as well move to Wyoming for all the input you'll get in running things.

Florida to Dean
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Chris W,
To listen to Dems/libs, you ARE in power. Gee, I can't seem to remember, who won the Congress in 06? Oh yeah.
Yes, the libs are the ones who are more concerned with global warming than the more imminent threat from terrorists.
I know where my nuts are, and I know you are thinking with the part of your body you sit on.
Thank God this group of Dems/libs weren't in power in WW II. I would either be speaking German or Russian, if that was the case.

I surely hope Governor Deans stands his ground. What are we without rules and laws....a renegade illegal group of cronies like Bush/Cheney? (sic) I think the Florida Dem's should just apologize and say, they took the wrong page out of the cheney/bush handbook and realize breaking rules and Bullying others because of their wrongful action, doesn't make it turn right.
Anyone who isn't concerned about looking like the fools they are for pushing this ridiculous scheme, can see Governor Dean has it correct.

Maverick...ummm, but "our" Dems WERE in power during WWII. The FDR model of America is what we'd like to return to (minus the collective American bigotry against Jews, Irish, Black people and others that is).
