Enjoy your convention stay, FL Democrats
Florida Democrats are hoping that if they buck the DNC rules on its Jan. 29 primary they ultimately will escape penalties when a nominee emerges and takes over the party and the convention planning. But here's one thing to think about: the DNC still controls which delegations get which hotels at the Denver convention.
So where might the Florida delegation - and Florida political writers - stay in Denver? "Maybe you guys should think about getting your own rooms,'' state party chair Karen Thurman quipped to reporters Wednesday.

Maybe Karen Thurman should be the DNC Chair, instead of that dictatorial bozo Howard Dean. He's from a tiny all-white state and he intends on letting New Hampshire and Iowa have their inordinate influence on the election cycle, even though their demographics don't represent the country.

when did the Democratic Party ever truly believe in state's rights?
Oh yeah, when they tried to secede from the union.
