Nelson: DNC penalties unacceptable, unacceptable, unacceptable

Senate_nelson_flpap102 You think a lot of Florida Democrats are mad about the DNC saying the Jan. 29 primary won't count? Well, Bill Nelson is at least three times madder. His remarks today, while introducing a primary reform proposal for 2012, about the DNC stripping Florida of all its delegates to the national convention:

"This means the country's fourth largest state will have no say in picking a Democratic presidential nominee. Unacceptable. Unacceptable. Unacceptable. Florida still has several weeks to find a solution the DNC will accept - or, as I have suggested, legal action may be necessary. It's a case of the fundamental rights of voters vs. the rules of a political party. And, as to our right to vote, and have that vote count, there can be no debate."

Howard Dean vs. an astronaut? I'd like to see who comes out of this one.

Space Cadet v. Astronaut, Live on PPV.

I'm good with that match up... just as long as Katherine Harris can ref.

YEEEEEEAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW - Let's Get Ready to Rummbbbbbbbbbbbbbllllllllllleeeeeeee

Thanks, Bill! At least one Democrat on the national stage has the stomach to tell the truth to the party. You can't be a "national" party, and have a "national" committee if Florida is excommunicated.

I “excommunicated” once… that’s the last time I call my ex from my home phone. Man, was my wife pissed.

I think Sen Nelson's last face lift was too tight - it's affecting his thinking.

he has ideas for primary reform for 2012????????????

of course....he does...after saying, "let's wait and see"...instead of calling for a revolt...he has been corrupt strategically, philosophically and operationally...for the democrats. All this AFTER voting for torture. Honestly...Katherine Harris is too stupid to have done all this to hurt the dem party...she would have been a safer bet. Nelson has to go! That's it. OH...and thanks Bill Nelson for giving us Karen Thurman as you stated in the Times...when you would not share hardly any of your campaign money....that you did not need to run against Harris. You are a fraud...and yes...with one too many facelifts. gads...you look creepy. You a pedo too?

Nelson can't be a "pedo"- he is a Democrat!

He's no astronaut. He was a congressman who hitched a ride on a shuttle as a "payload specialist", ie, political butt kissing by NASA.

Democrats should show up primary day, vote on everything except a presidential candidate. Do that in large enough numbers and that will send a message.
