Bob Allen, ready to serve

He may have been stripped of committee assignments and banished to the rear of the chamber, but the Merritt Island Republican is standing against his critics.

Allen, whose sex solicitation arrest has been made into a nationwide joke, is present for the opening session ceremony and spent time greeting fellow lawmakers. He even appeared to flash a thumbs-up toward the Speaker's rostrum.

Allen has resisted pressure to resign from office, insisting that the allegations are not as they seem. The case is pending trial. But Allen has already been removed from leadership positions and had his seat moved to the rear of the room, next to Democrat Maria Sachs.

"I'm one of the 120 members of the House and I'm doing my duty," Allen told reporters after the session let out. He pointed to a large stack of papers, including a folder with the label "property taxes." As for his new seat, Allen showed he can spin as good as any politician. "This is really not a bad seat at all. You get to see the whole House in operation. ... Before I always had to turn around and listen."

Everyone to the back of the bus!

Hug away, but don't for one second think anybody is giving him a kiss. Not unless they need $20.

Who got Bobby's $20?

How much did he have to pay for the hugs... and did they check his lapel first?

Ewwwwwwwwwwww...

Don't worry: Bobbie's only afraid of big black men.

following the lead of the intrepidpathologicallylyingdrydrunkfromcrawford, bobbie refuses to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for his actions!

is anyone surprised?

QUESTION:

are reiglicans born that way because of a defective gene or two, or is it prolonged, unprotected exposure to other repiglicans that causes them to become profoundly defective human beings?

Does ANYONE within the Party have the power to stop this sick pervert from destroying any possibility for a Republican win in '08?

I told you they should have checked his lapel... "Can you spot me $20... or give me a $20 spot?"

There’s been a lot of beer mugs placed on that forehead…

10:51

Did you mispell "repiglicans" as you were trying to make a joke? Nice try. Raise your hand and wait for the teacher to call on you next time though, ok?

You can tell.. He's got "Sugar in his tank".

"repiglicans"

the current members of what was formerly the honorable republican party, taken over in the late 1960's, first by racist southern democrats unable to deal with the consept of "liberty and justice for all" and later by ahistoriclevangelicaldumbdamentalist losers intent on turning this country into a theocracy, for only rich, white male followers of their profoundly defective theology.

"repiglicans"

What did Maria Sachs do to deserve to be in the back with this guy?

Once upon a time, republicans resigned immediately in disgrace. Now they stand tall like defiant democrats. Maybe that ugly double standard is morphing into something more insidious. Voters can't shake anyone from office.

12:41 has a point.

Bob Allen alleges he "feared for his life," and he wants us to believe
that his first thought for defense was to offer to perform sex on a complete stranger for twenty dollars in a public restoom?

This he did after peeping over the stall at the officer and then going in there? Come on.

This is the most assinine defense I have ever heard. The man has no shame. It's an insult to the Black race and more of a disgrace as a public statement from an elected official. And on top of this, he is now a HUGE black eye for the RPOF.

Was FL's Mark Foley not the final nail in the 2006 elections?

Since Rep. Allen is obviously lying, one can only hope the court convicts him of soliciting, which in fact he was doing.

And if that happens, he should be forced ro resign, since he hasn't enough integrity to do it himself.

Another page out of the Bill Clinton denial playbook. Let the rest of hear the details of this ad nausem until it is resolved.

It is truly disgusting.

Elected officials must be held to a higher standard. If they want to have a secret sex life they should stay out of elected office.

Eventually, the light shines on the darkness & these men end up being an albatross for our party. How incredibly selfish.

For all their talk about family values it seems that the Republicans, wether in Florida or in the U.S. Senate, cant seem to follow what they preach. Maybe if they stuck to what matters to the rest of the state/country we maybe better off.

I don't know diddly about Bob Allen or what he did, and of course opinions are always welcome. But doesn't it seem senseless to castigate someone who has not been tried [in court] yet. Wouldn't we all wish our accusers would await our own day in court? How does it go...cast not the first stone should your own conscious not be clean?

1:33 If you have not read the account from the police you would not realize how bad this is.

What you are quoting from the bible was different.

Christ said, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." They were about to stone to Death a woman for adultery.

Bob Allen is an elected official. He has been arrested for solciting sex in a (vacant) public park restroom. No one was there but an uncover police officer. Allen went uninvited into the other offcier's stall in the bathroom after he (Allen) stood on the toliet and peeped over at him. If you read the details of the report you would understand how defeseless his story is.

He needs to resign. Many times people get off in court with a good attorney, that does not negate the facts.

There are consequences for breaking the law and caussing scandal to yourself, your wife, family and your party.

These perverts have no shame.Craig and Allen are disgusting.Would you want your son in the bathroom when they are going or uh coming. Is Rep.Benross-Mindingall stupid?I hope her opponent uses that hugging picture in his/her campaign.

Why would he put himself in this situation if it's not true! You expect us to believe this guy is innocent? The only reason he's being Non- chalant about it ..is because some crooked lawyer has already promised him, that he would get him off....probably in more ways than one!!

1:15 (aka: Rovette) said; “Another page out of the Bill Clinton denial playbook.”

What a freaking riot! Even when face with the ugly reality that Republican after Republican after Republican is being caught for perverted actions of despicable nature, they still find a way – somehow – to blame it on Clinton.

You pathetic hypocrites crack-me-freaking-up… Here’s a tip for you guilty Republican freaks, sickos, and pedophiles… take a lesson from “Republican” St. Pete City Councilman John Byran – once he got caught – and off yourself.

Now that’s a tax saving action right there!

Leave! and Get Out!

NOW!

2:18 What I meant and I should have clarified it was that when caught about Monica Lewinsky President Clinton denied it over and over... "I did not have sex with that woman!"

Then we had to hear about it for over a year on T.V. and in the papers. Our nation and our children had to hear the revolting facts about it ad nausem.

I did not mean to infer that many Republicans had not been caught in sex scandals. But Clinton was unique in that he could lie to our face on national television and deny deny deny.

Rather than resign with some sort of dignity, or just say yes he did do that. But instead, the public had to hear the salcious details over and over. He in fact educated the children of the United States about oral sex in the in the Oval office. The U.S. was the laughing stock internationally for his behavior No one can quite match Clinton's hutspah.

Admittedly, one of our bigggest Republican 1 man think tanks, Newt is sidelined forever from becoming President for havng several affairs himself while married; one while sitting on a committee to impeach Clinton for his perjury in a Grand Jury about Monica Lewinsky.

And these men wonder.

Very sad.

I stand by what I said, Bob Allen takes his denial from the Clinton play book.

Oh Lord!
Mothers before you let your son's in any public restroom yell:

ARE THERE ANY REPUBLICANS IN HERE !!!!

05:28 PM

OMG !

ESPECIALLY IF IT IS IN A CHURCH

Enjoy the moment, liberal commies...it is most amusing to see all the leftists drool over this.

Democrats, dumb cant figure out how to get out of their own way.

Republicans, corruption at all time high (millions of our dollars to friends), hypocites (do not practice what they preach). Stop the preaching

VOTE INDEPENDENT!

Newzaroo, was that the honor code? I'd like to see how that meeting went. Now, look guys, we know a bunch of you are immoral losers cheating on their wives or embezzling this or that. But if you're ever CAUGHT, then resign right away. Our overwhelmign shame will still give us a moral edge over the Democrats who are inherently immoral based on party registration: Genesis 56-37. Bob Allen is still a Republican. Larry Craig is still a Republican (After pleading guilty) Mark Foley, still an R. Sen. David Vitter (R-Whoresville), Jack Abramoff R-Prison. You seem to need to feel morally superior as a an individual or part of a party, probably because you believed someone else who said it long ago. If you did the honorable thing, you'd really have to quit that party.

Another Republican Pervert bites the dust:
http://www.nndb.com/people/114/000162625/

Rep. Allen is going to end killing himself by the stress that he is voluntarily enduring remaining a member of the House.

THAT kitchen sure is white hot.
