DOC Crackdown
In a sweeping crackdown, Corrections Secretary James McDonough made a series of moves Tuesday aimed at breaking up a widespread scheme in which inmates paid well-connected civilians to get transfers to prisons of their choice.
He suspended one corrections administrator without pay, while the investigation continues. He demoted two others, calling their actions "a failure of leadership." Read more here.

DOC has a huge budget, perhaps they should be paying for a better class of employees.

Way to go, Secretary James… that’s showing ‘em! Maybe next time they break the law… you gave give them a real severe pinch on the elbow, and refuse them a snack after dinner.
… freaking criminals, all the way to the top.

I'm not sure what the problem is.
You can't lobby in Tallahassee?
The next headline would be, "cities pay well connected lobbyists to push for budget requests ahead of other cities."
ROFL!!! If he doesn't have a clue what's going on in his department, what else is happening?

3:14 - care to take it outside?
when you gather as illustrious a career as Secretary McDonough, then you can comment on his actions - until then, bite yourself.

Now, now, 9:33 - isn't that the kind of culture McDonough is doing away with - the invitation to violence that McDonough vowed to do away with.
But, on the other hand personnel is policy and not much personnel has changed.
