Fuming over Howard Dean

Buttonsdem 100_0071_3 These are a sampling of the buttons scattered among the Democratic activists at the Florida Democratic convention at Disney, where Mike Gravel is the only presidential candidate willing to show his or her face : "I think it definitely will hurt us in Florida. People are getting, really angry,'' said Marsha Berdit, a retired teacher in Jacksonville said of the Democrats' boycotting Florida's Jan. 29 primary.

"Hillary ought to ask her husband. He didn't blow us off,'' said Arlene Farachio, another Jacksonville retiree at a grassroots birthday party for Hillary Clinton. The cake is pictured.

State party communications director Mark Bubriski quipped if he sees any media reporters from Iowa, he'll bar them from the event.

Democrat Party Rules:

1) Disenfranchise your own members.

2) Bar the media if they try to report on it.

Think what they can do for America...

That's funny. I'm at the convention and no one is talking about the primary. We're having fun and networking with our fellow Democrats.

This Mark Burbriski guy has some real hubris. What ever happened to the Democratic Party being the party of transparency and openness? Oh, that's right, this is the administration of Karen Thurman, the Florida Democratic Party Chair and also a Republican lobbyist. I'm sure these knuckle heads will give us the same fantastic results they gave us in 2006 here in Florida. Oh sorry about that I just remembered that the FDP claims victory here in Florida because they helped Senator Nelson defeat Katherine Harris. Whoopie dooo! If Nelson needed help to do that then we are in worse shape here in Florida than we all realize.

Got a survey the other day from the DNC. It said it wanted my opinion on things that are important to the country. It asked for a donation. I know if I filled it our and did not send a check it would go right in the trash. I bet even if it did include a check the survey was going in the trash. I'll get out there and vote for my favorite candidate but the DNC can go to HE// and take Hayseed Dean with them.

Is there a website where you can actually buy the Howard Dean pinata?

How droll. I'm in the Grand Salon and no one is talking about the icebergs. We're having fun and socializing with our fellow passengers.

The Democratic party clearly needs to update its rules, but I wouldn't worry about this kerfkuffle making a real difference in the general election...considering how long memories here are, it will be long forgotten by next summer.

Blaming Howard Dean for the DNC's decision is stupid...what people really should be asking is who the hell are the DNC? They're the ones who make the rules, and the rules evidently required Dean to strip the Florida delegates...

Myself, I'm pulling for the Florida legislature to fail (again) to pass a tax plan on Monday, so that they'll be forced to push the primary back to February anyway...wouldn't that be a kick in the head...

You madam are an idiot!!!!
