Storms Feels Battered; Geller Marrying Webster?
Sen. Ronda Storms, who tried and then withdrew an attempt to lower the Senate's 10 percent cap on assessed value increases on non-homesteaded properties, said: "How do I feel battered, let me count the ways."
"I think some of us, or really just this freshman senator feels battered, because things that we tried to fight for, aren’t there," Storms said. But after pointing out things missing, like relief for low-income seniors, she added: "I'm glad we finally got something, and we're here."
Sen. Steve Geller joked that he and Sen. Dan Webster's wives are on the verge of divorcing them for neglect (over the time they've spent working on property taxes), which means that he and Senator Webster may have to get married.
"I'm erasing you from my speed dial," Geller said to Webster.

battered and deep fried!

Of course Ronda feels battered...she's used to getting her own way and doesn't have a single negotiating bone in her body.
She's about the worst example of a legislator there is!

Storms is one of the few in the FL Senate who has backbone. Let's hope when some of those jellyfish are termed out after next spring, she will give the next Senate courage to stand for something!

storms is a disgrace. she could win so much more if she wasn't such a b-----

Ronda Storms is bull-headed. That is why people like her ("she stands up for what she believes in") and that is also why she is an ineffective Senator(there is no reasoning with her - it is like talking to a brick wall). I feel bad for the residents in her district.

THE REPUBLICAN LEGISLATURE SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED. THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE MEMBERS ARE MORE INTERESTED IN NOT OFFENDING THEIR PEERS IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT THAN THEY ARE IN SAVING THE ECONOMY OF THE STATE BY REDUCING ALL REAL ESTATE TAXES.
WE FAILED WITH INSURANCE, WE FAILED WITH PROPERTY TAXES, WHY DO WE DESERVE TO BE THE PARTY IN POWER????

THE SENATE SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO GO HOME.
MUCH TO MY DISMAY RHONDA STORMS IS FITTING IN PERFECTLY IN TALLAHASSEE.
SHE IS JUST AS BULL-HEADED AS THE REST

Rhonda would feel better about investing her time passing laws to tell us all how to live and to label some of her fellow citizens as reprobates, second class citizens and outcasts.
What did we elect her for? Did we expect that she'd enjoy the nuts and bolts of government? No, she was elected to cleanse the state of the moral flabbiness that has grown since the day the Supreme Court ruled everybody should not be compelled to pray to her God in open civic prayer.
If there is a correlation between moral purity and excess of self-decorating make-up use, Rhonda is a template for a better America.
