Thompson: 'Get to the bar'
Why did Fred Thompson speak less than five minutes to Florida Republican activists Saturday? Senior Thompson adviser Rich Galen told Buzz that before taking the stage Thompson asked how long the crowd had been in the room, and learned they'd already been there a long time. "He said then why don't we give them five minutes of pure, grass roots rah-rah and let them get to the bar."
Bad call, based on the bad Buzz that speech created for Thompson at Presidency IV. Pictured is the only table of a major campaign left unstaffed Sunday.

o, my!!
and one has been led to beieve that the chimp is about as dummmmm as any contemporary repiglican.
guess not.
and its not just the comment, but the 'thinking' behind the comment:
"these locals are so f&*%@*g stoopid, we can tell 'em anything, give 'em some booze and they will be happier than pigs in ----!"
absolutely incredible!!
well, not really, to anyone who has been paying attention for the past six-and-two-thirds years!!!!

Adam - stop with the negative Fred stuff. Your bias is evident.

You want Adam to stop with the negative Fred stuf???
Well, hell! Jump on over there and rouse old Freddie awake and get him to say or do something that would be worth a positive mention!
Holy crap people! Ronnie boy was senile as hell and his wife and her psychic ran the show and Freddie still makes Ronnie look like a Rhodes scholar!
The best thing that could happen for this country is that Freddie wins the Repug nomination. The Dems could run actual donkey and sweep up the floor with old Freddie.
Sorry Freddie, are we speaking to fast for you? Best go ask your buddy Billy Bunting for one of them there little blue pills. I think I here your boss, the little trophy wife calling!

Fred would do better is he took a position. On something, anything. Even Romney is taking positions. Eventually. Well, for a while anyway...

Actually could have been a smart move if he had announced that what he was doing. I've sat through those things and you tune out after the first few speakers.

Don't know when Adam was taking pics there, but all morning there were workers at the table...maybe he took it last night when everyone was "at the bar" in the Hotel.

I was there all weekend and never saw this table unmanned, even Sunday at 1pm when there was NOTHING going on those guys were there. You've gotta let these people take bathroom breaks, right?

Adam doesn’t like anyone whose name doesn’t begin with; Hillary, Rick, or Charlie!

He's the next Reagan alright. Second term, post-stroke Reagan.
Lady Gator:
Directive from the state and national GOP. Please do not mention bathrooms.

a 5 min. rah-rah would have been wonderful, but when the signlanguage lady went to shake his hand after the "speach" he acted stunned and like he lost control, he did not even know where to go afterwards. 5 Min. equals $20,000.00/min he could have done better and even his supporters thought so.
