Crist fills Ethics Commission posts
Gov. Charlie Crist today named two South Florida lawyers to the Commission on Ethics:
Larry R. Handfield, 51, of Miami, self-employed attorney, succeeding Norman M. Ostrau, appointed for a term beginning November 21, 2007, and ending June 30, 2009.
Linda D. Conahan, 57, of Boca Raton, attorney, Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, succeeding Christopher T. McRae, appointed for a term beginning November 21, 2007, and ending June 30, 2009.

D's or R's? And who did they replace?

The more relevent question: Political insiders who must suppress temptation or political outsiders who will be guided strictly by the law?
There's gotta be a better way.

Well, pretty funny, in that Crist got his airplane ride from Cash America in 2002, and since 2001 Peter Antonacci, chairman Ethics commission was representing them through the Atty General's office investigation.
Well, all of the sudden, all these FRIENDS that Jeb put on the Ethics commission said Crist was not guilty, including Peter who represented the company that donated money and gave Crist a ride. Alot if companies being investigated that gave Crist money (Bellsouth, Pearlman, Home Depot, Kane furniture, Tenet health care) had Clayton Roberts and Chistopher Kise waiving the wand and dismissing complaints! Or settling pennies to the dollar.
Crist, running for Atty general, also had an election complaint, but not to worry. The woman that helped advise him on voting demographics (Susan McManus) that Jeb gave a n Elections Chairman job to, she said Crist was NOT GUILTY too!
Clayton Roberts got a bone from Peter Antonacci, because Peter was also on the Judicial Nominating Counsel and Chairman. And the people that Peter represented (he was Jeb's atty, sued the Jennings lawsuit for voter machine transparency, sued the League of Women voters to NOT do voter drives for minorities and Noelle's drug trial atty)had no problems with Crist's Atty general firm. And Clayton Roberts running the office was on a short list for judgeship. And Crist gave hom a job as a judge!
Now, the interesting thing, since I sent this info to Atty McCullum's AG office, will he look into the Advocate office reviewing the past Ethics Commission decisions? Because after the SEARUC complaint, I did evidence 80 emails showing Jaber and PSC BAez were guilty of perjury of notarized affidavits, obstructing investigations...And the DOAH TRAIL date was changed. Lindsey Bogan changed the venue to Ethics commission for DISMISSAL. And he was put on the same Peter Antonacci's judicial nominating counsel short list.
The hyper links from myflorida.com about Peter and the chairmanship appointment have been removed. Charlie Crist's ELECTIONS COMPLAINT was removed from the ELECTIONS COMMISSION website from 2002. So much transparency. Should we do a record request? Smaells like the Ethics comission under Bonnie Williams wont change. Bradley, Crist's campaign advisor? His sister ogt money from Palm Beach post developers for her legal defense, while she was approving their projects. She just got a fine, wasnt removed and continues to push for Jeb's SCRIPPS bio tech site in Palm Beach. Mary McCarty is Bradley's sister. WE DO DEALS...

TIP3: There is the tiniest bit of truth in Peggy Arvitas' ravings but you have to search long and hard for it and you have to make huge leaps in logic to connect the dots.
