PRIDE owes us money, state says
Things are getting testier between Florida's prison boss, Jim McDonough, and the folks at PRIDE, the St. Petersburg-based non-profit agency that runs inmate work programs in prisons across the state. In the latest skirmish, McDonough insists PRIDE banked $1.3-million since 2004 that rightfully belongs to the taxpayers. Read the full story here.

Steve, wasn't there more to the PRIDE issue, like illegal (or at least the impression of improper) loans, etc. etc...?

What did you people expect from McDonough, a Marine!? You smear him for his "bulging" budget, because of recitivism, NO TV, NO drug and alcohol addiction programs and NO education. 40 PLUS % recitivism, and the VOCA budget evidence I sent him should be used on the VINE program. But Butterworth and Crist, for over 12 years have been in violation, paying for State Atty District offices with federal grant money.
As a special Christmas present, I have sent that to McDonough. Heck, maybe he will give me a job. Since from my initial bill Crist FUMBLED in 1998, I got VINE funded with Judge Robert Beach from our ABC video and calls to legialtors.
Crist gave that job, VINE director, to a woman who starred in a video from the SECOND FULL CAMPAIGN I wrote for him 1998-2000. Nice friend of Jeb's since I dont donate money to the GOP, just time, I have decided to jump the political fence and serve the underdog in the fight for the truth.
