Rooney on a roll in CD 16

Tom Rooney gets some love from Roll Call and anonymous Republicans, who brush off Gayle Harrell: "...Harrell's primary attribute, local Republicans sources agreed, is her name recognition in the district. Unlike Valeche, a promising candidate who is relatively unknown throughout the district, Harrell¹s state House seat sits entirely within the Congressional district.

"But given that perceived advantage, some Republicans are quietly questioning
why she hasn¹t done more with her head start. "Considering the advantage of being in office, raising money, I think it shows weakness in her campaign," a source said. "Face it, if you are already in public office and you¹re in the fourth term in the Legislature, you should be lapping the field." "

Go Tom GO!

None of them have raised any money or have much in the bank...pretty weak

Rooney's Pittsburgh Steeler family is trying to buy the kid a seat. Valache can self fund the campaign and is getting help from his NY friends. Harrell is raising grass-roots dollars from WITHIN the district. With Roony & Valache money coming from outside the disctrict - Who are they going to represent?

Tell Gasbag Gail to give it a rest.

Looks like Public concepts and randy nielsen are headed for yet another loss - stick to the senate and defameing people and you will survive

This is definitely not the feeling I get on the ground... I guess they'll print anything a faceless coward wants in print...

Tom Rooney raised over 20 percent of his 3rd quarter contributions in the 14th district of Pennsylvia... why is the press not investigating why only 3% of his itemized contributions came from the district? Harrell's support in the district is strong and those are the people that will vote...

I don't like candidates who think they can buy an office. Like Romney ...

Rooney is raising money from PA and PAPA! Harrell has the support of the district...

Hal is an extremely intelligent candidate - went to Yale at age 16! And then went on to Wharton School of Business. And his money comes from self growth and wise investments- not from Mommy and Daddy. So what if he has millions? He earned it all with his intelligence. He also has successful military service as well - a perfect candidate if he can just get his name out there.

Gayle Harrell has 80k less than someone with deep pockets and a national FR network. The stroy should be why isnt Rooney ahead by more

Hal Valache is worth 80 million keep that in mind folks
