McCain and his message must be right on target, since Mitt spent so much more money.

According to Neilsen, he's run 4,475 ads compared to John McCain's 470. Romney ran more ads in September than McCain has run to date.

The more that people see and hear about Romney, the less they like him.

He's mean and angry in a time when we should be bringing people together.

He's said horribly untrue things about Mccain but won't admit his own quotes that show he is for a withdrawal timetable in Iraq.

This is good, all good. The more of his own fortune that Mitt wastes this time around, the less he'll have the next time he tries to buy an election.

I LIKE THAT ROMNEY SPENT MUCH MORE MONEY THAN HIS OTHER OPPONENTS.

JUST SAW THAT MITT RAN MORE FLORIDA ADS IN SEPTEMBER THAN MCCAIN DID THE ENTIRE TIME!!!

RUDY SPENT A LOT OF CASH TOO. HIS STAFF IS WORKING FOR FREE. AND HE'S GOING TO LOSE BIGGG TTTIME.

10:04 why are you touting how much money Romney spent? He should be embarrassed. To spend as much as he did, and to be in this kind of dog fight against McCain how had no more than a solid message and a group of volunteers who used to be with Jeb. He had a 20 person staff in FL for a year, and they really have little to show for it.

The Boston Globe reports GOP campaigns have aired 8,012 TV spots in Florida — with Romney airing more than half (4,475), followed by Giuliani with 3,067 and McCain 470.

LOL - Looks like McCain knows how to make the most of his money.

If the man throws his personal wealth away like this, what will he do to tax payer money?

I guess we know from his $400 million healthcare debacle.

I will not vote for any candidate who accepts an endorsement from a Governor who knows not where his office is, and has spent his first year jet-setting for photo-ops and pimping $240 as a job well done.

Accepting an endorsement from “The People’s Mistake”… will be “McCain’s Big Mistake”

Alright, well I am still in shock on romney's spending numbers. What a waste of personal fortune.

We are all aware of your opinion. You just posted it 3 times.

I just cast by electronic ballot but something in my gut thinks that my ballot my not be counted. When I entered the polling location I requested a paper ballot and was told that there were none available, I was told this same thing when I requested a paper ballot in March 2007 for the city elections. I was told that they did not have to provide a paper ballot. After being told this I then asked the person in charge of the polling location exactly how electronic provisional ballots are handled and she stated that they are coded with a special number and that once they are verified they are included in the count but if they are not verified that particular ballot will be deleted out of the system. All I have to say is that something smells pretty fishy if the Supervisor of Election can go into a computer system and delete ballots that they state are not valid.

Please note that according to the Florida Statues the provisional ballot should be a paper ballot and not electronic per Florida Statues. To not have provisional ballots available at the polls is considered to be an act of malfeasance and according to the Florida Statues is reason to remove an elected official from office.
101.048 Provisional ballots.--
(1) At all elections, a voter claiming to be properly registered in the state and eligible to vote at the precinct in the election but whose eligibility cannot be determined, a person whom an election official asserts is not eligible, and other persons specified in the code shall be entitled to vote a provisional ballot. Once voted, the provisional ballot shall be placed in a secrecy envelope and thereafter sealed in a provisional ballot envelope. The provisional ballot shall be deposited in a ballot box. All provisional ballots shall remain sealed in their envelopes for return to the supervisor of elections. The department shall prescribe the form of the provisional ballot envelope. A person casting a provisional ballot shall have the right to present written evidence supporting his or her eligibility to vote to the supervisor of elections by not later than 5 p.m. on the second day following the election.
