Florida's part of Obama's game plan
From the US News blog: "Advisers to Barack Obama are increasingly convinced that the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination will continue past February 5, when 24 states will hold nominating contests, including California, New York, and New Jersey. "It will not be finished February 5," says a senior Obama strategist. But he admits that a lot depends on the outcome of the South Carolina primary for the Democrats on January 26. If Obama wins there, he will revive his momentum going into the Florida primary January 29 and Mega Tuesday on February 5. Then the battle will move to the contests of mid- and late February and early March."

Earth to Buzz: The only people in the nation who think Florida's democratic primary isn't a complete waste of time are political bloggers in Florida.
Sorry, but we're completely irrelevent to the campaigns and rest of the nation's political class.

I don't think that Obama has much fo a chance in FL - I think the state will continue to lead heavily toward Clinton. I know that's the way most voters I know are leaning.

Talk about trying to make a story out of nothing.

what does it matter? no one gets the delegates

Hillary will unfortunately win Florida bc of the all the old women. Obama has a good excuse for losing it, but the idiot pundits won't care that there are no delegates.
It will really depend on how the media plays it. I predict Hillary will make a huge deal out of a victory here, and claim it gave her great momentum.
Turnout will probably be higher than 4 years ago even without delegates. Seriously, if delegates mattered so much, then why the focus on Iowa and NH? It's all about momentum and media attention going into Feb. 5.

Delegates will probably matter this year, unlike most. Unless Clinton or Obama can score a knockout blow on Feb 5, it'll come down to who can lock up enough delegates. Momentum still matters, but delegates matter more this year than most.

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting.
Barack Obama's church:
Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there. Barack Obama is a member of this church (http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp ) and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable
commitment to Africa . No where is AMERICA even mentioned.
Does this mean he desires to guide America while his loyalty is vested Africa?

This is the web page for the church Barack Obama belongs to:

One speach slightly altered over many years does not a President make. Obama is a One Liner with no Juice and no Network to fulfill a single fairytale promise he makes. He will be, if Selected, the Jimmy Carter of the 21st century. One term and out pResident. Handing back to the republicans the White house and congress in four years. That aside.
Hillary will win, not my choice, but the only viable democrat option now.
