Fl vet out of Hillary campaign
Consider this more bad news for Democrats' shot at taking Florida in November. Hillary Clinton deputy campaign manager Mike Henry, a former Bill Nelson strategist, has left Hillaryland, per The Fix. There isn't much experienced FL talent on the Obama campaign, which also hasn't shown much inclination yet for targeting Florida.

Oh, the "blog Florida blue" Kossacks are going to be sorely disappointed if Florida goes red in November. Boo hoo!

So the nonsense to disenfranchise Florida Democrats is going to bite them in yet another spot: they aren't ready for November and will never have time to catch up.

Zhombre....
It is spelled c-o-s-s-a-c-k-s....

Kossacks are the Daily Kos blogger-wackos - called a play on words - duh

8:22 Its a non-issue. DEMS are turning out in record numbers to vote anti-Bush and anti-irresponsible-GOP. It doesn't matter to us whether it's Obama or Clinton - we want to put a stop to the ruination of our country, and that means YOU have to go.

Dems,
If you really are trying to vote "US" out of office, couldnt you put up a better fight than a scandalous, despised feminist or a inexperienced black muslim? Cmon Dems....EVERYBODY knows that if you guys REALLY wanted to win, you could at least nominate someone electable....maybe in 2012 huh?
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 09:15 AM
That's the problem with campaigns like Obama's that never thought they would win. No long term plan beyond the primary and no idea of the long haul or how things said in the early primary will come back to haunt them.

9:15 is a moron.
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 09:30 AM
9:30. I'm no moron, buddy. After serving in the military, working my way through college and a career in government, I'm hardly stupid when it comes to politics. What I am, however, is a realist. I'm also the son of an immigrant and find it offensive that another immigrant would be so ashamed of his background that he would run as a black man, when its very clear he was raised white and Muslim. Read his bio. Do a little research. I grew up in Detroit. I guess that, in fact, makes me more Black than Obama.

Also a racist and a sexist
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 09:46 AM
Oh no! Someone is Racist? Oh my god natural human behavior! Oh, the humanity!
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 09:53 AM
Any woman who has ever had to walk through a room full of black men is racist
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 09:53 AM
9:46, I find it humorous that you automatically assume that I'm white and male. I would bet that if there was no racism that people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would not have political careers and they recognize and exploit that fact for their own game. What if, in fact, I am Hispanic? Does that then mean that I am seeing a trend instead of being racist?

There's still good ol' Mo Elleithee from FL @ Hillaryland. A true winner! ;-)

Hillary will win in the end. The Democrats are not so crazy as to hand their nomination over to the darling of the extreme, white-guilt-ridden-over-educated-but-short-on-common-sense-left-wing fringe and POd blacks Obama is turning out in the D Primary.

9:36 a true realist would realize that conservative politics are ruining this country. Not that I think conservatives really care. They're too busy lining their pockets in order to make sure that their superior genes survive the global meltown they are disclaiming responsibilty for.
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 11:05 AM
11:05 - wrong, conservatism always has to save this country from the socialist policies that sap our liberties

DEMS will win in the end because GOP policy cannot disguise its failure behind spin and media bias forever.
I'm leaning towards Obama because we need serious change. He faces a tough road if elected, trying to reverse 8 years of totally irresponsible GOP policies, while the GOP, of course, will be trying to lay the blame on him if he can't instantly fix their mistakes. (see current GOP criticism of Congress, for example.)
Perhaps the Clinton machine could better fend off GOP attacks, but on the other hand, she's probably a lot closer to "more of the same" than Obama would be. The Neocons under Bush have blatantly done their best to make their elitist policies difficult to reverse - I believe that if we hadn't had the sense to take Congress away from them, we'd be well on our way to living in a corporate controlled oligarchy by now.
Let's continue to ride the backlash of Bush-GOP failure, put someone in the White House who's going to change things, and then give him the time and support it's undoubtedly going to take to do it.

11:11 It's too bad that conservatives have twisted the meaning of liberty to mean the liberty of corporations to make as much money as they like while avoiding all oversight and responsibility.
Posted by: | February 13, 2008 at 11:28 AM
11:28 - corporations are people - people have a right to make money and earn property - government should ensure no fraud occurs, but other than that stay out of their way - corporations are a free people seeking to make money to raise families - and your sad little envious self probably thinks they "make too much" well who made you god to determine how much money another free person should be allowed to earn
get past the blinders of your envy and you'll be amazed what you truly can see

Corporations are NOT people.
Privatized isn't cheaper.
We are not a "Christian" nation.
Grow up and smell coffee -- it's a post Boston tea party world.
Our founders were smarter than you think. They rejected royal rule by bloodlines supposedly "annointed by god." That's why "We the People....ordain..." is in the preamble. Not by the CHURCH like King George -- ordained by the people. Even the people who are NOT filthy rich or connected.
They'd seen royalty use favors to sycophants using chartered "corporations" and theocrats by forced religion-- that's why they specifically put in body of Constitution - NO religious test for office. And DIDN'T favor corporations, insider trading, bribing for laws to profit a few by stealing from many.
We put in civil service to PREVENT nonsense like Heckuva job Brownies.

Government is the biggest business in the country. Government does not produce anything, and is financed by taxing us on our hard work. And the Dems just want to keep increasing the size of government. Guess that is because so many of them work for government either on the state of national level.

Reagan/Bush and Bush/Cheney --- both CLAIMED conservative ---- and spent us into hell hole stagflations.
Just because baby Bush put it on a Chinese credit card for our grandchildren to pay -- does not make a debt equal to ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINED --- fiscal conservative. They keep telling the same lie, and y'all keep believing it.
Democrats come in, clean up your mess, and you blame them --- because the deferred payment for your spending --- came due and had to be paid.
