If those FL Dem delegates get restored...

...Here's how the 210 delegates would be divvied up based on 1/29, as calculated FL DNC member Jon Ausman: Clinton: 105; Obama: 67; Edwards: 13; unpledged: 3; Super delegates: 22.

And if they don't get restored, and we face a brokered convention? Florida will once again be in the center of an electoral mess. Stay tuned.

It wasnt easy figuring this out. You all can thank me later - Sammi

Adam,
Posting during the Super Bowl? Get a life!

Wow...same sn as the S&M sites. No "with respect?" When will this loony lib disgrace ever go away?

Adam, I wouldn't exactly call it an electoral mess. Seeing two Democratic candidates that are acting presidential in every way (at least in the last debate), a campaign running all the way to the convention can only benefit the Democratic Party by getting them much more media attention.

It's also been passed around political circles that you're slightly Republican-leaning in your coverage. I think the truth about your approach can best be paraphrased from a Muhammad Ali quote: "[Smith] you ain't nothin' but an instigator."

and right now Obama leads the delegate count by less than the spread between he and Clinton in Florida... so if that lead remains the same, why would he seat Florida's delegates?

A more important question is why would Sen. Clinton seat Florida's delegates? Oh yeah, because she won an uncontested race. If the outcome were different, you wouldn't be hearing a peep out of her as it relates to counting all votes. She would also like to seat Michigan's delegates, where she went up against "uncommitted." Florida is a means to a Clinton end, it's that simple.

Clinton also realizes that completely hosing the Florida delegation isn't the smartest political strategy when November comes around. When it comes to Florida, the Democrats cut off their nose to save their face.

Jon- What happened to Kucinich?

Completely hosing meaning after agreeing to completely hose the Florida delegation and seeing a political opportunity, seizing said opportunity. I do like the slogan: Hillary Clinton! She didn't completely hose Florida. Nice.

I think the Democratic candidates cut off their Florida to save their Iowa and New Hampshire.

Don't worry, I'm not voting for either Clinton or Obama. But Obama couldn't say anymore times than he did that he basically hates Florida, at least Clinton made her last minute attempt to be nice.

Not worried, but he took the same pledge Clinton did. You may think it's true love, but I sense something else. She didn't come around because of a belief in justice, but because of an opportunity. You agree?

Agreed, but out of the two I am bothered by Obama's complete and under disgust for Florida, and how proud he was to ignore Florida.

Fools. I hope Hillary sues the DNC right before the convention to seat her MI and FL delegates. You can always count on Dems to be their own worst enemies.
