McCain's lobbyist friend, the FL connection

Not clear how long the Buzz will last on this New York Times piece about McCain's old lobbyist companion, but it seems south Florida has always been good to the Arizona senator: "...That February, Mr. McCain and Ms. Iseman attended a small fund-raising dinner with several clients at the Miami-area home of a cruise-line executive and then flew back to Washington along with a campaign aide on the corporate jet of one of her clients, Paxson Communications. By then, according to two former McCain associates, some of the senator’s advisers had grown so concerned that the relationship had become romantic that they took steps to intervene..."

"After staff members confiscated his Viagra, he re-reinvented himself as the scourge of adulterers, a crusader for family values, and a true born again evangelical conservative, a man of honor chastened by yet another brush with shame."

Pathetic attempt, even by the new york times standards, to smear a great man. And the print media wants to know why they are losing readers!

How lame and desperate is this story. Once again, the NYT shows their slimey true colors. They should at least be honest and proclaim themselves the Demoncrat standard bearer that they are. I hate this kind of disingenous reporting.

That helps explain why he was dry humpin' Brian Ballard after the primary, while Charlie took photos.

How sad that freedom of speech has really turned into freedom of slander. It is so easy to site "anonymous sources" when you have an agenda.

He cheated on his first wife. It shouldn’t be a big surprise that he would cheat on his second, too.

10:28 The hypocracy of a GOP accusing DEMs of that kind of activity is almost too obvious to mention.

how's that? it's a hit, a very palpable hit.

This is irrelevent and so is the New York Times. They have no credibility. What makes no sense at all is the timing on this. What is the point of running this excrement now anyway its not October and he has the nomination locked up?

Oh, that's just disgusting. She touched his dusty old balls... I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

10:40 It's a couple hundred years too late for either party to take the high ground on this issue.

When will the New York Times investigate Obama's real estate dealings in Chicago?

When will the St Pete Times invesigate Fla Repub Party Chair Greer's behavior in strip clubs?

He just wanted to see if they were real or not.

Johnny - your first wife could haven given wife No. 2 a few pointers on keeping you pointed home!

Barrack Hussein Obama... Will he have an African Muslim dance at his inaugural ball if he wins?

GOP RECORD
Mark Foley - sex with pages
Larry Craig - sex in airport baths
Bob Allen - sex in park baths
Jim Greer - ... in strip clubs
Sean Campbell - ???

Good to see those traditional values being carried on.

McCain just wanted to fit in.

Disgusting that unattributed "information" can pass for news. But then again, I'm not suprised. The Times is scared of a Republican with universal appeal.

11:24 (yawn)
11:30 LoL

Better get in contact with the Swiftboaters - you need some professional help.

Not news. Not fit. But printed.

I'd like to hear something on SPT about the Iraqi Airforce Jet that landed on a road in Highlands county today. What's up with that? Some dude hides a box cutter and that makes front page, but nothing about THE IRAQI INVASION???

11:24
Your comment is either a feeble and irresponsible attempt at comedy or plain anti-semitic racism. Get a real life and realize that there are millions of African Muslims in the world who love God, follow the rules and contribute greatly to the world. Your comment is disgusting.

News outlet is chastising New York Times for Yellow Journalism on this attempt to hurt McCain's campaign.
It looks like this may backfire on them. Both McCain & Ms. Iseman deny allegation and Times has no proof.

**Barack Obama admits using drugs including Cocaine.**

"DO WE REALLY WANT AN ADMITTED COCAINE USER IN THE WHITE HOUSE?"

JUST SAY NO TO OBAMA!

McCain may have spent some time in a jail during Vietnam, but his wife stayed home as a prisioner of war and raised his children. She didn't leave him or them because she was chasing tail. Yet, when he returned home he left the woman who bore his children and raised them all by herself for a trophy wife.

He decorated his chest with colorful ribbons and then he decorated his arm with a pretty little woman. Today he stands proud as a peacock flaunting his decorative collection, but displays little substance.

Sounds to me like it's service to self above anything else.

Bush never denied he did cocaine and his policies definitely show the influence of crack!

I want to know when the sptimes is going to investigate Bob Graham's involvement with Wellcare. What did he get for his time on that board? How much money?

McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker said:

"Americans are sick and tired of this kind of gutter politics, and there is nothing in this story to suggest that John McCain has ever violated the principles that have guided his career."

McCain Principles:

Adultery - OK
Lobbyists - OK
Attack Ads (against me) - NOT OK!

If McAmnesty had a "D" next to his name... Rove and the boys would have a field day with this.

Oh, the hypocrisy of it all.

2:01,

We already have an admitted drug user in the White House! Where have you been for the past 8 years?

2:01, you really showed yourself. There are many, many elected officials at all levels, and all parties, who have "admitted" to using some kind of illegal drug in their youth.

Has Jim Greer made any statements about any drug use by him in the past? We know he could not be a hypocrite and attack anyone for doing what he may have done.

When I hear something like this about a liberal it reminds me of Barney Frank, Jerry Stubbs, Bill Clinton, Gary Hart, Jessie Jackson and the King of all Lusters Jimmy Carter. Okay the last one was just for laughs because we all know he was emasculated and not capable of actual performance.

So McCain is a liberal?

7:12
You really don't know what his wife was doing while he spent time in as a prisoner of war. (and if you call being beaten and otherwise tortured for over 5 years, "some time in jail", you are an idiot. I know some POW's and their wives. You do not have a clue. I can tell what his first wife is doing now, she is supporting his campaign.
Who are any of us to cast stones?

Barrack HUSSEIN Obama

As far as SPT even stooping this low, I guess I should not be surprised. Guess we can forget about them reporting news.

If McAmnesty had a "D" next to his name... Rove and the boys would have a field day with this.

Oh, the hypocrisy of it all.

Michelle Obama says "for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback."

WHAT A LOSER THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN IS INCLUDING HIS COCAINE USE.

Rasmussen poll just out showing McCain beating both Obama & Clinton in the great state of Florida.
