Rubio also exploring revenue and spending cap
House Speaker Marco Rubio is pursuing legislation similar to the revenue and spending cap considered this afternoon by the Taxation and Budget Reform Commission.
"Speaker Rubio is a strong ally," said Adam Guillette, Florida director of Americans For Prosperity, a group that worked with TBRC Commissioner Mike Hogan. Guillette said he had planned to meet again with Rubio tomorrow but is putting it off until later in the week or next week.

Is this the 3rd or 4th tax package that Rubio has signed on to?

He wants to be Governor so badly. Poor guy. He sure has figured out how to manipulate the media. Funny, for all the griping he does about Crist being all talk and no substance, he sure does plenty of that himself.

The 1.35% Property Tax Cap plan is still the best one out there. It will really revolutionalize property tax collection here in Florida like Prop. 13 did for California.
Everyone should get behind the 1.35% Property Tax Cap plan.

oh man! he was 1.5 hours late last year too. Then walked in and said hi to 50 people and left again. I didn't get back to work til 2:30 b/c I had to wait for the People's Gov.
The excuse last year was that his plane was late leaving Palm Beach. However, we caught their goof when they also said that he had been in WPB since Saturday and the lunch was noon monday in Tampa - 2 miles from Vonderburg airfield.
The Governors plane doesn't leave w/o the Governor, does it?!
I moved so I didn't go this year. It's nice to see how some things stay the same

Raise your glass and sing together. . .
"99 tax reform proposals in the House, 99 tax reform proposals, you take one up, then vote it down, 98 tax reform proposals in the House. . ."

You don't see Pruitt constantly trying to bring attention to himself. But then again, Pruitt is a grown up.

The 1.35% Property Tax Cap plan is still the best one out there! (barring the voters deciding to spontaneously adopt total fascism.)
California has had many years to evaluate the effects of Proposition 13, and they have found that big business will benefit the most from property tax reform! Walmart loves you, really! So let's get busy and sign those petitions!
Plus, if you'll just do what I ask, I'll stop my cut and paste blogging.
At least until my neocon pimps tell me I have another agenda item to spin to the gullible voters. Honest, I promise!
Problem Solved!
