Lust, lies and pictures -- in court

Rarely do outsiders get an inside peek at how judges work together. But last week, judges on the state's biggest and most powerful appeal court testified about one another. It was not a pretty sight. Read Times Senior Correspondent Lucy Morgan's report.

One would think that this story would be printed in the Tallahassee news rag. But then that would require a reporter to do some investigating and writing!

The 1st DCA is chuck full of patronage, and this story is only the first blush of what happens in that building. The Department of Justice and FDLE should pull out their scalpels and do some serious investigative surgery.

Fascinating reading! Thanks, Lucy! As a Tallahassee lawyer, it's pathetic that our own newspaper can't go after this story too. Or maybe they choose not to. Whatever...

Yes. just the tip of the iceberg in what some of those judges are doing in the 1st dca!

All I will say is this is just the tip of the iceberg. If anybody took the time to investigate all of the judicial and law enforcement agencies in counties they would be suprised at how much favortism and discrimination goes on. There is no such thing as fair justice or due process in this country.
