Bastardized Simpson site sports porn
Democrat Samm Simpson, who's seeking to oust U.S. Rep. C.W. "Bill" Young, reports that a Web-site similar to that of her campaign contains porn. A minor alteration to www.sammsimpsonforcongress.com takes you to an an eyeful that's not work appropriate.
"We are investigating the origin and owner of the domain," Simpson said in a statement. "I do not know at this moment if it was a spoof, or a deliberate attack on my person."

Shame on her for not registering the name.

To the Luddite who chastises Samm for "not registering the name", I ask; How stupid are you really? Is it even quantifiable? You actually have the idiotic thought that it is her fault? I would suspect you, of having been the miscreant accountable for this act, if it weren't for your obvious deficit of grey matter. Samm is the real deal, and deserves to be heard and appreciated. Listen to her and learn.

Jonathan,
I think it deplorable that someone may have done this intentionally. However, having worked on many campaigns, and purchasing domain names for those campaigns, I do know that that is one thing you should do. Buy the names that might be used to confuse the issue. They don't cost that much, and it is better than going through what Ms. Simpson is.

Will be interesting to see what the FEC and FTC have to say about it. Even more interesting to see that a candidate that so many within the establishment don't take seriously is possibly being taken seriously enough to become a target.
